windows mining is great unless u have AMD cards on it. the AMD software is absolute garbage and gives me nothing but problems. all the sudden my rig keeps crashing and its 100% software but ive tried everything i could think of and no change. also after every crash u have to reinstall AMD software or only my nvidia cards will mine. such a pain im switching to Hive OS this week as soon as amazon delivers my 3900x. fck windows and fck AMD- gpu inferior to nvidia and garbage software they should legit be sued for the software. or maybe it just wasnt made for running more than 1 or 2 amd cards at a time idk

I'm about to switch away from HiveOS to just plain Windows as well. Way too many random issues that lead to forum posts from years ago where nobody has any answers. And some of them don't even bring up any results on Google, Bing, whatever search engine I use. I appreciate having the phone app and the Telegram integration but I'll live without those things if it means my rig will just work properly for the foreseeable future, I can't be babysitting my rig like this. I don't know how some people have a hundred graphics cards on dozens of rigs and I'm sitting here with 3 cards on one rig and it's a nightmare.

Since this is people using windows for mining let me ask you this. I have an asus rog machine with 4x3080 ti's and a 3080 and i have major instability issues. Mining RavenCoin see that it stops mining and when I go to the machine the motherboard had the yellow/orange light on it and a black screen. I'm pretty sure this is a memory error. This was a store bought mining machine with plenty of memory and I did a fresh windows install and increased the virtual memory size. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Sebs. Thanks for the videos, it help me a lot. I would like use windows but the system always crash with mi little rig and i dont know why. Even i did a clean instalation of windows 10 pro and start to crash again (without overclock). So i had to use hiveos (its have problem to boot some times). If you have some advice for me in my problem with W10 y apreciate. Bye

I am still on windows and i have many small rigs (16) in multiple locations, i think the biggest benefit... windows is free, the biggest drawback - software updates (new miner versions and etc...) But i am thinking of switching (partially) it just takes too much time to admin all the rigs (window update and etc...) all of my rigs dual mine ETH/AVN

Some people have to go to the work. So managing rigs remotely is for me core feature even when my rigs are at my home.
AMD cards in hiveos have lower power consumption because you can set memory voltage and memory controller voltage. This will save me more money on electricity than daily cost of hiveos is.

Hey just a quick question should I be running win 10 Pro instead of Home in home I do run into a lot of problems so my thought was should I switch over I think the only problem I would run into is I gotta go buy a product key but besides that its fine! Whats your thoughts?

Ty for your video :) Do you have a stable mining on windows? I actually mine on windows with amd cards and I have to reboot every week to prevent my rig to crash. As I heard some miners car mine on hiveos for month without restating, I'm thinking about to test it too.

Was there a Activate Windows watermark? I've been using unactivated windows for months now and activate windows watermark disappears if don't look for it! It's there, but it doesn't even bother me anymore.
