although slightly better I will admit, what you didn't show is when you have a decent base built it still runs like crap when near by. so good tutorial, but not entirely accurate more to end game. especially when you have a metal base with a ton of reflection.

obviously the game will run super fast if you turn everything off.. whats the ini files for if all you have to do is turn the game into something you would see on ps2? look at all that bare sand on the beach.

I have a i5 5200u and a Nvidia 830m and nothing has worked.. I watched multiple video's and nothing has helped. I run ark on low settings around 30 to 40 FPS. Any other ideas?

Helped a lot i used to run low settings and it looked like some mario game from 90's now i run at low but it looks wayyy much better it looks really good and doesnt lag at all!

Hey dude I'm saying this 2 years later but the fps fixed my gamer alot I went from 60 to freezing to 600 to 340

(works for me) go in steam to ark:survival evolved>properties>set up launch settings>type:
-lowmemory
And boom, from 20 to 50 without worsing the graphics

I thought my gtx 960 was like omg low end and will not handle any nice looking game. I was so wrong an gtx 960 is ok for gaming.
