I've been having trouble with this for hours, but I understand now.
The only way to fix this is to follow the instructions for -Creating A Blog or Any Archive Template with Elementor Pro-. There is a link in the description where it says -Blog-.
Since the -Posts page- is NOT a regular page, you CANNOT treat it as such.
Therefore, whenever you want to edit the Posts page, you have to edit the template (after you've created the template using the instructions above).
You can do this by going to -Templates- in left sidebar > -Add New- > CLOSE the window that pops up > Find template that you created > -Edit with Elementor-

I use elementor for the homepage only (static homepage). And I also use yoast for SEO. Change the SEO option for the homepage using Yoast especially for meta description and title. But, in the search engine - I found that the meta description is from the first 100 character from the page elementor editor (not from Yoast).
Could you please help?
And the next problem is, after updating my WP and Yoast SEO, I can't edit the homepage created by Elementor. There also appear error 'updating failed'.
I do not know the exact problem. Please kindly help. Thanks

in my case when i switched elementor to safemode the elementor worked again but when i checked my plugins there were not more than 2 plugins one of which is elementor itself and other is advanced custom field. And i deactivated the advanced custom field but the elementor didn't work. in the same way, when i changed the theme the elementor work when i came back to the original theme it didn't work. Could anybody help me?????? I am confused now. what's the error???

Go Back or Learn More. om Learn More I have gone through every step including all web hosting and server related. I've gone through all the steps on this video. Safe mode as you put it does not work. Any ideas?

Since the issue is more than a year old and you still haven't fix it, I'm guessing the point of this so overtly artificial and easily fixable bug is to get people to by the Pro version of Elementor, no? Did I understand this correctly - the only way to be able to edit the Blog page in Elementor is to buy the Pro? Because I've tried everything on the fairly extensive list of -easy- fixes - no luck.

Try to make elementor to fix all issues by their setting in its own plugin. i face so many issues since installing Till date. I don't Criticize all time. but This is a wonderful plugin to build page on the website. Elementor team this is suggestion to you Make elementor to bear all problems. Even sometimes tutorial of the solution does not work out

Thnak you, you helped me out. I had the error -the preview could not be loaded- when i tried to edit my pages by Elementor. As you suggested i tried to open the edit page from a new Incognito view then the edit page displaied in the right way. And in normal mode the Elementor editor page comes back right after I cleaned the cookie of my browser.

The only fix that I've found is to Deactivate Elementor & Elementor Pro and the website goes live in seconds!
I have over 20 websites under my license and if this has happened to 1, it could potentially happen to all! I need a fix that doesn't make me deactivate your own plugin! Orelse, webflow is the answer to me from now on then...

I changed the Permalink, saved it, then set it back to what it was (custom) and now it's all working again. Damn. Spent 3 days on this shit. I was ready to reset everything and do it all from scratch. Thanks a lot for this exhaustive list of possible causes and very well explained potential solutions.
