Confusing. What you call automatic updates for Wordpress, I would call manually updating because you have to take action, click on buttons to run the update. I interpret automatically update Wordpress is to configure Wordpress so it updates without any intervention by the webmaster.

When I click the button to update it opens another page called Update Wordpress and requires values for: hostname, ftp username and ftp password. Where do I find these values?

hey i do that but in update i dont have the update button i have you may have the php version 5. 5. something or higher but i have the version 7. 3?
