Great tutorial, I had a few issues with mine and could use some help.
When I change render mode from preview to full there are pieces of the
background corridor that show through and I used a radial fast blur on
an adjustment layer with some fractal noise to create a projector like
effect from BB8's small light, but it wont render in the final scene.
Any Ideas?

Learning a TON doing this tutorial! I'll have to post a quick small vid to show you. THANKS AGAIN! But still a lot of work for me to finish it up real good. But still, learning a lot! Also did a few things different. Think I'm going to delete the differences I did and go strictly off this video to really learn how to do it without presets, i. e. optical flares.

Really nice tutorial! Everything was well explained. One thing was different in my shot: There was no reflection on the floor from BB8 and from the lights on the wall! I tried to play with the settings but i couldnt get the result! If anyone could help i would appreciate!

Hey Envato Tuts+ i really love your tutorial can u do a similiar tutorial for the Space_fighter inside the same package? i find really hard get a fotorealist render in a sunny outdoor bg. I will rly appreciate bro.

working through but when i enable ray traced AO, my after effects stops working, it doesn't crash but just freezes. The mouse can't even close the program - only through task manager
any thoughts?

Ik Im going to sound like a noob, but how did you get the corridor to look realistic (reflections. glow etc) as Im not sure how to do it and you had it already set up like that: )

Very detail tutorial. One issue long time not solved is the spot light doesn't work at all in E3D only ambient light work, so weird. Using the mac book pro.

Also, how do I set up my Ae to take screen shots? I have Photoshop, but not sure where the screenshot goes once taken.
