Tel & Comm Co's can & DO by default track your(as in YOU) connection to the network no matter the device, pseudonimity or encryption) as each connection requires a unique device identifier(IMEI, ESN or MEID, etc, all of which is subjected to live and/or forensic analytics systems.
The ONLY way to retain some of your privacy is to competely disconnect from the broadband signal and get off the IP stack and, Braxman knows it darn well as obfuscation merely delays slightly any would-be action against you.
Sorry, but Braxman is about 20 years late w/his platform & quite disingenuous purporting that obfuscation via strategic disinformation, VPN or alternate devices provides any viable protections as aforesaid.

Some -privacy mirror- software could reside on our devices and do the job of data miners for ourselves - providing our personalized warnings of trends we show to prospective data miners out there and hints of how to water them down. Also, a report per company (or government, national or foreign national) -What Google/Facebook may have (has) on me-, and perhaps provide -what ifs- (what if this company acquires data from this mail provider which I have account at, which was used to register service from that company-, etc.
Whatever we study/fight, understanding and modeling or simulating their intel is of utmost importance.

I have two free WiFi locations in a small village in our Central Highlands which are free (and busy) and my use is easily concealed.
Every one in my company has the same number. It auto-answers with the 'unused' tones followed by silence. Auto-diallers will disconnect.
If anyone dials in the silent period they will be forwarded to a specific mobile without learning the number.
Many of your comments reter to smartphones, which is why my smartphone has no SIM and my 'burner' phone does.

I used his app and you tube was detected with a mitm. So that means that my Google account, passwords are in someone else's hands. It is not possible to delete my accounts, and reset to fabric settings is also impossible. I have no trust anymore in phones and company's, I bought this one in a telecom shop. It is as they just want to controle everyone. I cannot de google my phone. Totally no controle over my own phone.

I just thought of something. sometimes when I'm doing housework I turn on a YouTube video (on my android phone) and just let it continuously play whatever comes next (autoplay. On occasion YouTube asks me if I'm still watching. This only happens on occasion and now has me wondering if it's manually initiated by someone tracking me. it's just bizarre that it doesn't happen all the time. In fact, it's very rare.

Dear Bob,
In past I have many differents accounts in Yahoo, Google, fb, linkdin and what happen?
Google put all them together!
Even worst, fb find connections between me, my sisters, extended family, local workmates and friends!
At streets of any city there are thousands of cameras recording every of your movements.
Privacy now is almost impossible

I give thumbs down to things I like and thumbs up to things I don't. Sometimes I mix it up. If I watching a 12 episode program I give 1 episode thumbs up I give the next thumbs down. Or as Rob said about gun control. I like things that contradict each other. I also practice browser isolation. The browser I use for YT goes to NO OTHER SITE.

I like all these concepts, and there is another closely related strategy. AI may be able to identify those instances where you deliberately do/provide something -false-. It is therefore potentially beneficial to feed some completely random information into the system. You will however appear mad to some humans who evaluate your behaviour.

now i'm thinking - would some solution be an android phone to which you don't sign up to google account? you'd have to get. apk installs. and other users would have you signed with a name, so that's probably not it, but probably connection to your personal gmail wouldn't be as automatic
