All I noticed was better real time lighting. RTX is sick but atm I'd rather wait. Stop spoiling yourselves until this rtx stuff is better. The only way I might purchase one of the RTX hypes is when on sale. I have enough games I still haven't completed to play until that times comes.

panjno how are you getting 80+ fps on Ultra Ray tracing on? On just 3080 Gaming X trio? I am using Asus Strix 3080 and have been getting 62+ FPS and in demanding areas below 40 FPS any tips or explanation will be really appreciated.

I would still choose 100+ fps, because apart from water reflections there is no huge difference, honestly some RTX off clips look better than with RTX on, or is it just me?

I've found RTX definitely gives the game more vibrancy and obviously better illumination giving a better cinematic feel which for now is what the game is, eye candy.

Ray Tracing is so useless, there is not a big difference in terms of graphics. It is just one more feature to make their pockets full.

I'd rather play at play at 4K 60-90fps (without RT) than 4K 50-60fps with RT.
The game is still gorgeous AF without the RT.
