Hi Chris! Just watched your vid on the AVerMedia 'Live Gamer Portable 2' I have the PLUS. I just purchased it. I was hoping you could somehow explain how to stream (in detail) from the PS4, to a monitor AND computer for OBS purposes? My goal is to have the players not have to use the lag presented from a stream, while streaming independently in real time (few seconds of lag okay) to twitch. In other words, to players on a tv/monitor with the console, and me streaming it from a different monitor, while streaming it with OBS. I'm new to this whole steaming thing and still trying to get all the bugs out. Thanks!

I don-t know what-s the problem with mine, but I can never capture the audio from my Nintendo switch. Recording is fine, I got that down, streaming with my pc is the problem. I know I-m not the only one, and this answer hasn-t been solved in forever .-. Pls help I-ve had it for a year with no help, if I don-t get this resolved I don-t recommend this at all. Elgato is probably better .-.

you really can't use these types of devices with a console without a DHCP compatible monitor, PS4 refuses to show anything if your screen isn't dhcp compatible. If you only have one HDMI monitor, It's probably in your best interest to buy a cheap HDMI switch box, for things like 1080p, a $10 one from Walmart can do just fine

Chris, you had a little sound-related problem (zoom-sound, like when you would blow air in a bottle filled with a lot of water) with your mircrophone around the 9th second. Just so you know, probably many viewers can't even hear it but I happen to have good headphones.

I know this is not strictly Linux relevant, but what I really want to do is stream from my Sony A7iii via my (android) phone. I'm thinking this is something that should be possible, but I have so far been unable to find any guides on the subject.
Any ideas?

This is the exact case for the application I wish to use. So the HDMI output from the RPi is connected to the Avermedia, which is connected to the streaming PC?

Can I run hdmi from my mac. To the Avermedia . Then from Avermedia to my TV. So that I may copy a video I'm streaming from my mac through Avermedia to watch on tv?

So I have my hdcp off on ps4 but I can not get it to be 1080p on my ps4.. tried pc free mode and everything with a sd card. Any ideas ?
