How good is Linux for people who need to use assistive technology (AT) for example screen readers?
I am Dyslexic & I use a screen reader all the time, I would love to move away from microsoft, but I don't think that Linux would be suitable for someone who is disabled, am I right or wrong?
I have been looking at Zorin OS, as alternative to windows, but I don't know if it will be suitable for me!

I recently had my first foray into the world of image manipulation. I tried Photoshop first. I immediately realized it was garbage and switched to the open source program GIMP. Lightyears better IMHO (edit) - GIMP also works on Linux obviously, cuz their awesome. Gonna give FREECAD a go next

Using zorin os lite on my first laptop from like 15 years ago man never tought it would run this smooth even plays videos at 1080p. Partitioned 30gb for zorin os lite downloaded a bunch of programs and still only half the space used. Have dual boot but will remove windows in time.

I hated the way Linux installs applications simply because there's no standards. Installing this is different from installing that. Thank goodness for snaps and flatpaks... Or else I would never use Linux... Because just installing my printer becomes mission impossible.

Hi, when I flash the usb stick windows is no longer able to recognize the usb, and when I boot up the BIOS the usb stick is not listed. Any idea how this may have occurred and how to get my computer to recognize the usb stick that now has pop os flashed onto it?

Either they need to make Linux as automated, plug-and-play as Windows, or a fully open source implementation of Windows needs to come out (of alpha, ReactOS-)

You appear to have skipped a step. You don't show how to reboot to the USB device. You just say to do it. After removing it. How does that work?
