To be honest. I was checking out the images comparisons. and I just could not see any difference? Maybe my eyesight is going. or I am biased? I just do not see it.
But. since the mechanics of the game changed from what it was. IE: you now move around the game in FPS like mode. rather than the -static- images loaded from CD-Rom (Yes. I had, and still have I think the game on CD, does it matter?
I used to spend hours just be amazed at the graphics. in the images. Now I guess you still can. it just has some motion and some fancy lighting applied.

It's still amazing how good FRS is vs DLSS considering DLSS requires proprietary hardware to run. I remember many pundits saying there was no way AMD could come up with a comparable solution especially if AMD wasn't using hardware to help implement their solution. How wrong they were.
BTW, if you have an all AMD rig, would implementing SAM make a performance difference?

When I tried FSR in this game with my 3080 I was surprised by how good it was. The textures actually looked better than without it, but it's probably due to TAA. This was at 1440p. There wasn't much of any performance difference though, so not sure if I'll use it when I go back to the game. For some reason I didn't see DLSS at launch in the game pass version.

Uh don't care about RT or DLSS since I have owned Radeon AMD cards since the ATI days. I just want to play the game. It should look good and I got FSR on most games. Not gonna pay alot of money for a 3080 or 3080ti. FSR 2. 0 is coming.

Why not include a 6600XT, or any AMD Card for that matter? I would have liked to see the performance gains by percentage on the native tech. still an interesting vid.

I won't notice the blades of grass but what I will notice is the sharpness of the textures. That well looks far better with FSR than it does with DLSS.

Sorry, can't see any difference between DLSS and FSR. I'm sure it's there, but if you need to zoom in to be able to see it, what's the point?
