1. The PCWorld Intel fanboys were the only ones, who suggested that the Intel i9-12900k would beat the Ryzen 9 5950X.
2. The key question for me is of course, will those IGPUs of the new Intel 12, 000, beat the IGPU of my Ryzen 3 2200G: ): )
3. What is interesting for Photoshop AI, is of course, make people look younger not older!
4. ARM will not be owned by NVidia, because the UK government will block it. It is the last real technical achievement, that is British.
5. App is software, that is a very thin display layer on top of the Chromium browser.
6. To Microsoft I would say: Security of my PC is my responsibility, FREEDOM!
7. USB2. 0 is fine and 3. 0 is perfect; my USB stick runs at 4MB/s and my fastest off line HDD 35MB/s even on a SATA port (2. 5-; 160GB from 2008)

Big small is definitely a step in the right direction for Intel. Heat and efficiency is a massive issue for Intel who are currently dead last behind Apple and AMD. Secondly, the coverage of the MacBook Pro was- biased. Every review I have seen has shown incredible scaling of the M1 Pro and M1 Max. ARM and Apple Silicon is an existential threat to both AMD and Intel. Much like the iPhone comprehensively trounced Qualcomm, resulting in mobile makers developing their own chips (exynos, Tensor, etc) x86 could be the critical weakness of the PC world. As a long long time user of PC, I-m close to converting to Apple held back by only the lack of app compatibility, which is starting to close.

I have a 11900K in my PC and I also have a thor psu with the windows showing power consumption. Even OCed to 5. 1 ghz while playing games and normal real world usage, I have never seen the whole pc consume more than 400 watts, that's playing games on a rtx 2080 super. While browsing and doing some office work, I see around 130 to 140 watts. So the power consumption of rocket lake is not bad and those reviewers that criticized rocket lake sooo bad are not true reviewers, they are AMD Pro marketing in disguise. That's why I don't watch those reviews, I love pcworld because of their honesty.

How can they discuss that they dont know street prices of aldor lake, when they have been up for preorder at street price for seveal days by now. ?, also Whole electronic/computer part industry has gone mad, if you write it down, the prices went from only going up by inflation, to now going up with around 50+ usd per generation. Just look at AMD and Nvidia too, its bad right now and the consumer will suffer hard. only stockholders wins on this.

DDR5 prices seem to roughly match those of high-performance DDR4 ones such as 2x16GB 4400 CL17 kits. Which makes sense from a performance standpoint, at least for the selling party. Plus this is a new technology with higher manufacturing costs, partly due to on-board power conversion, and lower volume (initially. No surprises there.

It's not like the new MacBook Pros don't _have_ the hardware capability to game - it's just that developers aren't producing native apps that are optimized for it.
The few native games run at high frame rates at top settings on the M1 Max.

Last week I was working on my PC after having a bought a new case when my friend came over. He mentions to me the M1 Max, and told me that it would be faster than triple slot GPU in my PC (6800xt. Apple marketing at work.

1: 27: seriously, do you think apple is selling these to people who know what intel i-whatever or even what an AMD chip is? They sell to their audience who can judge speed to whatever Mac they already have.

Every time you watch Star Trek The Motion Picture, Mark gets confused by clock speeds. On a side note Gordon, you can come play Minecraft with me but only if you do it at 16 by 16.

I have to agree with Brad and disagree with Gordon. Just because the chicken is on a bun doesn't make it a chicken burger. That's a chicken sandwich. A burger is ground meat.
