Apply ANY special shade of color or an exact color to an object in Photoshop using this technique. In this episode of #AskPiX, learn how to change the color of an object to a specific color either defined by hex code, RGB or CMYK values. To do this, all we need is a hue saturation adjustment layer and some brain

I was trying to learn how to use Photoshop with limited success. It would just not stick, despite watching many videos. Then you said Do not learn the answer that 2+2=4, instead master addition. That transformed my perception, understanding and approach. Suddenly it began to stick. I cannot thank you enough. Oh, and thank you for all your fantastic videos. You really know your stuff. I am going to watch them all again now, with new eyes!

I like your videos but please be more clear about the hotkey combinations. At approximately 2: 40 hold what now to turn that into a selection? I can't understand you and the close caption says hold ctrl a command and click on this this makes a selection of this area. After 20 minutes I just went back to that layer and selected it so I could move on. Somebody else asked about the hotkeys, so its not just me. Thank you!

The problem with this tutorial is, if I need to make a brighter color with more saturation, it does not work well. At least in my case. I don't know what I am doing wrong. It creates all sorts of massive pixels when I increase saturation to match the color. His color in the video matched excellent. I have to use saturation to even get close to the color I am aiming for. It's a brighter blue.

Then i have to click ok and it removed the lasso tool. i cant go any further with the tutorial. what am i doing wrong? i want to complete it so i understand what to do better and gain the practice

2: 45 this entire section took a long time to figure out because I am on PC. The command + control + J did not work even when I used the PC versions for the keys. I had to manually go to the top and select copy via layer or something.

you are the master of photoshop. I watched like 3-4 other videos (and more recent ones) even from adobe, and this is the one that actually got the job done for my product picture. THANK YOU SO MUCH

This sucks for me because my slider is on both ends of the spectrum bar. -___- I have the worst fortune. I can't simply slide the entire bar to look like his in the video.

What past video about fuzziness was he referring to? Because I tried this and it didnt work. I dont know if I didnt follow the steps right or photoshop got rid of this feature?

I created a process using blend modes that allows me to end up with a layer with only the hue of the car from the image. No guessing, you just get the exact color. :)

The photoshop guru. This is definitely not for beginners. I would like to test this out, but it would be difficult and it will take long.

Well, I'm just starting this. I'd bet anything that it won't work like it does in the video. These tutorials almost NEVER do. I'd love to be wrong.
