I've only recently purchased my wacom tablet. This video and your style of teaching has convinced me not to give up. Instead, I need to set some settings. One experience I'm having you didn't address that I'm wondering if it's a setup issue is how sensitive the movement of the pen in PS even when the pen is barely close to the tablet. I could just be hovering and there's so much movement on-screen. Is this because the size is set too small and I've lost precision?

Maybe I've missed something in the video but I just got a Wacom Intuos S and I have to move my hand around the entire surface. as if the surface is mapped to the screen. I want to be able to use it like a mouse, meaning. each time you lift a mouse, the position resets, you don't have to use your entire table or mousepad! Anyone kind enough to share how to do this with Wacom. ? Thanks in advance,

Excellent tutorial! Great information and very clear. I've been using the Corsair K95 RGB Gaming Keyboard for 7 years. My model has 18 programmable keys on the left side. Super keyboard! Unfortunately they don't make it any longer: ( Extra Programmable keys are the way to go! I don't think I could live without them now!

Hey, Unmesh! I should say that when I fist stumbled upon one of your videos, I've had a very little Photoshop experience. Today is the day that I bought my fist tablet, it's also Wacom, the one you use. I just wanna thank you from the deep of my soul for this journey, you're my best teacher ever!

So I got a Gaomon tablet instead, I've set every other shortcut accordingly but I'm having difficulty with the first button on the pen. I can't seem to get the Click Right button on the keyboard since the software setting requires me to type directly from the keyboard. Please help

Hello and thank you for the informative video! I am having trouble setting my touch ring on the new Intuos Pro tablet to control the brush size. It's not there by default like the old Intuos pro tablet and I havent found a workaround yet. Any ideas on how i can customize it?
reply

Thanks as always for a fabulous tutorial. For whatever reason the brush resize function via dragging doesn't seem to work on my mac. Whenever I click the lower button (despite using your exact settings, the brush settings dialog pops up. Any Idea what I could have done wrong?
reply

The customizations don't work in Photoshop for me even though I added Photoshop in the Application tab within the Wacom Tablet preferences. If I change the customizations under the All Other it works within Photoshop, but how can I get them to work strictly within Photoshop?

I have a question about pen set up where i can allocate the pen buttons, the brush enlargement on the bottom is perfect, but id like to be able to set the top botton click to brush hardness? is this possible thank you

Thank you so much for your splendid tutorials! If assigning changing brush size in system preferences to the lower pen button does not translate, is there anything I have to modify in photoshop? Its photoshop 2020 on macOS catalina. Thank you for your help!

I have a question. When I setup the brush, I can paint whatever colour is selected, however, If I change the colour, I first have to paint with the mouse before the brush works again. vary annoying, is there a fix, or am I just doing some
thing wrong?

On 5: 47 the Modifier for the Mac does not work for the Photoshop 2022 version. When you press the Click button from the pen, you'll get the drop-down Brush Setting and you won't be able to increase the size of the Brush. Thanks anyway for the tutorial!

Could you please comment the use of tablets on Adobe Photoshop Elements? Do they work at all on Elements? If yes, is the functionalitiy the same as in the big brother Photoshop? Which tables can be used in PSE (Wacom? XP-PRO G640)
Kind regards

thank you for your tutorials, I have a question: How to set up wacom, using 2 monitors? The ratio for drawing is off when setting is wacom for both screens, but when you set it to 1 monitor I can't acces my 2nd monitor where my panels are

At 4: 51, you show us a slick method of changing brush size & flow for Photoshop.
Do you have something similar that works with Lightroom?
I have just the Wacom Intuos and can't get the pen/brush option to change based on pressure.

I watching alot of video of you and I like them very much so thanks for all your effort.

Great vid thank you, ive recently brought a newer tablet, but when asigning the keystrokes, for photoshop app, the new strokes aren't working, clicking back to settings its highlighted all applications.
any ideas?

Absolutely one of the best I've come across on YT. Clear, easy to follow without any problems as to where you are on both the computer and tablet. Thank you for making this whole setup less complicated.

I've tried using editing tablets, and I just can't get into it. If I'm going to use a pen, I'm going to use it on an Android, tablet or iPad. In fact, I could see myself working solely off an iPad one day.
