6:50 you can actually do this even in older version, just select subject as normal with whatever tool, keep the selection then just switch to remove tool and draw over the selection you dont have to carefully select anything as it will stay inside selection bound so you basically have a proper cutout, then just click enter and it will remove just that selected area, or use an empty layer with sample all layers selected so you get a non-destructive version.

Yes, these are things that took a lot of time and also brought in some money back then... now the 12 year old grandchild can practically do the same with a few mouse clicks. A friend of mine filmed weddings, which required special equipment and special knowledge in video editing. Now people do it themselves with their cell phones.

It's 2025 and we're still dealing with the remove tool.
We won't be able to keep up with the incredible development of artificial intelligence if we continue at this pace.
It's essential to keep Adobe programs in the background and prioritize artificial intelligence sites.

Neither the Remove Tool or Remove button utilize generative credits This only happens in the beta version of photoshop In the regular version a credit is still taken for each removal done with the remove tool.

Glad to see they're making some meaningful changes and improvements. There's still a ways to go, but this is all a step in the right direction.

Remove tool is impossible to use on uniform backgrounds- it creates halo (especially visible on dark uniform backgrounds)
