Great video! Just offering a heads-up to anyone else, like me, who got frustrated that when processing my DNG in ACR I didn't have the new features (like the DeNoise box) under Details. After much hair-pulling and trying to find an answer, I used ChatGPT to learn that, even though it's a DNG and everything in my system was fine and up to date, if it was taken with an iPhone it's not supported. Hoping Adobe will change that soon! Thanks again for all I learn from you. // EDIT: Well, now I'm really baffled - I just took in a couple of dng's shot with my Canon DSLR, which should be supported, and I still didn't have the new features under Details... Any thoughts, anybody

I’ve been using photoshop since the early 90’s. Amazing tool. But somehow, lately, I’m feeling like using horses at the dawn of the automobile. 2 years ago I adopted a rule, to avoid Photoshop as much as possible to survive the shift in our industry. Perhaps the best advice to your audience would be to stop using it and focus only on AI. I know it hurts and hard to swallow, but we can’t fight technology. I witnessed firsthand the fights between Phil Tippet and John Knoll at ILM during pre-production of Jurassic Park and how bitter it was for Phil to let go the use of mechanical effects in favor of CGI..now it’s even worst. My two cents.

All good stuff, but if you have any kind of influence over what Adobe do, please hassle them to make the curves palette larger like in the olden days. You used to be able to expand it and the curves box grew accordingly. But at present and for the longest ever time we are stuck with a pathetically small box. For such a powerful adjustment which often needs the smallest of movements, the ability to make this box a larger resolution’ would be very welcome. I wish Adobe would spend more time fixing the dysfunctional stuff as well as bells and whistles updates.

I love to watch your videos. I have been learning graphic designing for 2 years but feeling too worried about AI and its impact on graphic designing. I hear everywhere that AI is taking over all the designing tasks and designers have no future and AI will wipe off all the designing jobs.
AI can make vector art from images, can make logos, typography, social media design, web design etc. instantly. Whether to go ahead for a graphic designing career or not
Please help me in this period of uncertainty.

Hi Unmesh, I found an issue with the reflections feature in Camera RAW. It doesn't remove reflections behind the subject if they are behind the subject. Let's say you have a human subject and behind the subject, there is a light reflection on a glossy background, which doesn't remove. Also, can you explain whether this new tool will help to remove reflection on sunglasses

great video I am learning a lot. I have photos for which I want to use the reflection removal tool. I do have a question about the reflection removal tool. I have photoshop on a 2019 iMac with the latest software update and maxed out ram. Reflection removal always shows up with snowy noise not matter what I do. Is there a setting I need to chatange

Hey PiXimperfect,
I have been a student of your tutorials for a long time since starting my university degree,
I want to thank you for sharing your tutorial videos, you helped me a graduate. If it was not for your well made tutorial videos I would have failed my degree.
Therefore, thank you so much and I wish you all the best :)

Photoshop is a rip off, and you can do the very same things with cheaper third-party software that you actually own, unlike Adobe. People are waking up to it, and Adobe are losing lots of customers now, as other software houses can do a better job for less than the price of Adobe bloatware.

In 2025, no one should be forced to use an Adobe product. There will be equivalent or better products with better conditions and prices in all areas. But the AI Speaker in this video is excellent. It still looks a bit artificial, like it's made of plastic, but maybe that's due to the lighting.

Unfortunately although I have the latest issue of Photoshop, the reflection removal will not work due to some apparent issues with my graphics card not being supportive of Direct X latest. Every other program I run has no problem with the graphics card. Why is Photoshop such a pain

Great video, thank you. Consistently the best PS videos on YT.
I think my fave, although the least impressive technically, is the dynamic text. It’s been around in small apps like canva etc for years, PS has been really slow on this. I think I’d use it almost daily!

9:40 I don't see the T with the lightning bolt. How do I make it appear to be able to select it please And 13:29 I do NOT see a denoise box at all. I just have 3 sliders; Sharpening, Noise Reduction and Color Noise Reduction. Yes I do have the latest edition 26.8

My favorite is OCIO but it is really convoluted to use. I don't know why Adobe makes simple things complicated.
I would also like Adobe to improve their current tools. For example saving big tif or psd files is much times longer than in other applications.

Well.. i know it doesn't really fit in here but... I won't be having any Photoshop anymore in future, the ridicilous price explosion I am not supporting! F... that. Sry but not sry. Thx anyway for everything and all the best! Greets from Switzerland

The new improvement's look good, sadly I had to revert to the previous version as the Remove Tool would not work, dialogue box poped up saying componants are being downloaded. No matter how long I waited nothing changed remove tool not working

Oooh, it works wonders! Thank you very much for this demonstration
It would be great if adobe could find on a photo that already has words written, find what font they are written in and we could change these already written words as we want.

tried using the reflection removal on a photo of someone holding a framed football jumper and it didn't work at all, couldn't pick up any reflections to remove even though they are very obvious in the image, hope this improves soon.

Do these features only work online (Sometimes there's a lesser version of the feature if you're not online) i worry that one day the next version of photoshop will only work if you are online and there will be no way to revert back.

You have too many ads. Watching this on my TV and I keep getting 40 second unskippable ads every minute. I don't mind some ads but this is just going to force me to use my pc and add blocker so you won't get any revenue at all

That is insane. Sadly it's already summer time and I'll have to wait until september to share it with my students and make some tests. Anyway I'll have some fun before with these new features. Thanks for sharing, as usual.
