Whenever I do leg tucks, bicycles, or any twisting ab exercises there is a popping feeling and sound coming from the right side of my abdomen on the edge of my ribs. I have put my hand there and can also feel something move. this started or I at least noticed it probably around the summer or fall of 2020. it does not hurt but is very annoying and I can't find anything about it online. I have recently been to the doctor for my shoulder that makes a crunching sound and found out that the muscle and bone in my shoulder have been rubbing against each other for a few years now, so we are doing therapy on it. I have not mentioned this issue yet but thought I would look online first. Does anybody have any thoughts?

So, I've been practicing abdominal breathing for years, and my stomach is pretty big. You can see my abs, and I don't have much fat anywhere else on my body, but my stomach still balloons a little. Does diaphragmatic breathing lead to a larger belly, or do I just have unusual fat distribution (internal stomach fat? I practically can't pinch any fat on the sides of my stomach (no -love-handles-.
If it's the breathing, I don't mind; it's definitely worth it. If I somehow have harmful, internal stomach fat, though, I'd like to know so I can address it. It's odd, can I really have a subtle six-pack yet somewhat large belly? And no fat to mention, elsewhere?

Wow. I actually watched this video for the benefit of my husband. Quarantine has given him extra pounds around his midsection. So I want to be doing this ab workouts with him as an encouragement. But my question is can do these workouts because am still working on healing my Disecti recti (separation of the ab wall after child bearing. Wondering if the workouts would worsen my ab situation.

The concept of fewer, quality reps has been an extremely hard one for me to fight myself on--I feel like a failure when I can't match reps, or when I can't do an exercise at all, even knowing I have medical restrictions.

What-s your take on sit-ups? Recently read a report by Harvard that they cause severe damage to your spine. They actually recommend planks as the only safe and effective core workout.

Maybe for a second think that maybe thous thing people are doing in gym actually help they health instead of working out. If you see any of -don't do things- it does NOT mean NO.

The majority of people in my gym do it wrong: -) its a chain low budget and the trainer don-t go around to correct.
I-ve seen it differently in a higher quality gym
