I really appreciate the videos helping us get in shape and have no doubt these are superior exercises compared to many that strain the hips, back and such. Thanks Jeff and Athlean! My one concern to point out is the last 5 in a row of the 7 exercises all require the person to hold themselves up by their arms. It's kind of tiring, especially when doing the rest and seems to take energy from the objective. Possibly even putting the 7 in a different order to break up the arm ones would let the arms rest, no?

Thanks John. I am just getting back to working out after 1 year and 8 months of recovery from a series of injuries that include 1 herniated disk, 2 bulged discs, 3 compress factured disks, a broken elbow, sever bruising to the shoulder, ribs, and obviously my elbow and wrist. These ab exercises are great and will help me get my six pack back and banish my broken dad bod to the depths of my distant memories. #tacticaladventurerthailand

That was great, and I loved the recent 10-minute at-home workout as well. Neither one made my back hurt at all, although both gave some challenge to my weak-link wrists. Still, I will keep doing these 2 workouts until they dig a hole for me, and even after I'm buried, years later someone walking past my grave will hear the telltale Jeff -beep- timer sound and they'll go -did you hear something-?

It really hits heavy on the shoulders in the end. Even though they are pretty developed nowadays after 8+ years of training. In terms of abs this one is easily doable with the rest periods. However I really feel the shoulders after doing 3-5 sets of straight holding in that position. No issue with pushups though.

Thanks for the great video, how often should should ad workout be performed?
I currently do a mix of planking for 10mins 4 x a week. The routine in this video is very tense on the shoulders so I struggled.
Any advise would be great. I am a mother of three and only started ad workouts about three months ago.

Is there an equivalent of the last two that require the hardwood floor? Usually I get back pain or feel the hips so these are great but usually I-m working out in the basement with a concrete floor so the last two don-t work very good due to friction

Former athlete trying to get back in shape. I find this a bit easy. Should we do several rounds or increase time to for more difficulty?
Really love the thought of this. Victim of chronic back issues since I was a youngin.

Overall like the exercises and the concepts behind them but those last two exercises seem to me to have too much of the upper body involved. They seem to be more of an upper body workout just trying to hold yourself in position

I know these were meant to take pressure off the hip flexers, but I found by the end of the workout it was more of a shoulder workout than an ab with so many of the position requiring you to hold your whole torso up
