Why You-re NOT Losing Fat (TRUTH)

If you-ve been trying to lose body fat but haven-t been successful despite following all the good advice on fat loss that you can get a hold of, this video is for you. In this video, I-m going to show you how good advice at the wrong time can become bad advice. If you are not losing fat as fast as you would like to, likely it is because you aren-t focusing on the right things. To start, it helps to define certain levels of body fat so that we are all on the same page. If you are greater than 30 percent body fat, your number one culprit is and always will be your nutrition. It is not about the amount of cardio that you are doing or whether or not that cardio workout is being done in a fasted state or not. Given the fact that cardio doesn-t really burn that many calories at the end of the day and that a day full of bad eating can quickly eclipse what you burned in your training, it just isn-t a good idea to focus your efforts there. This is the problem however, and it is repeated frequently almost every day. People will read a tip on fat loss and think that it is the best place to focus their attention as they try to lose weight and drop body fat. For instance, you have likely heard that carbohydrates such as sweet potatoes are better for you than white rice or other less complex carbohydrates. That said, if your body fat is in the over thirty percent range however, it isn-t likely that you are struggling to choose between these two options. Instead, you are likely eating french fries. The same can be said for supplements for fat loss. People have been conditioned to think that supplements are the be all and end all, a savior for those wanting to eat better. The problem with this thinking is however that once the money runs out and you can no longer afford to purchase supplements every month then what habits have you learned to eat better? Likely none. Here again you are going to be setting yourself up for failure in the long run. I always preach how workout consistency and consistency with your healthy eating is crucial for seeing long term results. The key to this statement however is that this operates on a sliding scale. Your ability to lose fat and drop down from the over 30 range to in the 20-s and teens is going to require that you only get it right 60 percent of the time. Instead of focusing on perfection (which is nearly impossible especially for those in bad shape to start, you need to focus on what can be achieved and be inspired by the changes that occur as you make those more consistently right decisions. From here, you should start to get encouraged as you watch your body fat levels drop. Each new milestone becomes a new threshold for improvement and the changes that are required to get there. So, the advice that you were given to focus more on sweet potatoes over white rice may actually become good advice again since it will be delivered to you at the time that it actually matters. This and fasted cardio start to become relevant whereas they were not going to be able to make a difference at higher levels of body fat. The key to losing weight and body fat is to follow a series of achievable goals. The ATHLEAN-X Training Systems take what others make complicated and deliver it to you in a step by step, easy to follow format. Never guess again on how to start losing body fat and get ripped, instead start doing what needs to be done to get there. Don-t set yourself up for failure by setting the wrong goals. Let me show you how to do it all at with any of the programs that are best suited to your goals

I have something that may help a lot of people. I noticed that I would pee small amounts often instead of large amounts when my bladder filled. I am young so it isn't a prostate issue. Long story short I was taking a zinc supplement, over dosing. The kidneys were flushing as fast as possible, which made me thirsty and pee often. The rest of the zinc was getting stored in fat, which is the body's back up plan to prevent overdose in the blood stream. This can happen with any mineral or fat soluble vitamin. Anyway, I cut zinc and started loosing 2 days later. Pee went to normal, emotionally better too. The only reason I caught this was because my diet is perfectly consistent to the gram and the only thing I had changed for weeks was the zinc supplement. It is a good habit to only change one supplement every few weeks and log changes. I know not everyone can or would do this. The short cut is to look out for overdose if you pee small amounts often and feel a bit off.

Honestly I appreciate his straight up honesty. Ive recently hit a pletu weight of around 248lbs starting at 300+lbs. I'm still seeing muscle gain but my fat loss is seeming to slow down. Based on what hes saying I'd say my nutrition with my cardio is my main problem right now. I'm usually low on time after work so I'll often jump right to strength training and skip cardio. Diet wise i'd say i eat relatively healthy throughout the work week staying with a higher protein lower carb diet. Problem is I don't have to many vegetables in my diet as I feel I probably should im just not sure what to get or even how to prepare most of them. also won't deny i can go a bit extreme at times on cheat day. But using what I learned in this im gonna try to chip away at some of these bad habits so I can win this war on my weight.

Jeff, another perfect video! Thank you!
What are you doing with clients, who are thinking.
-How long am i going to be on a diet? -
-How long am i going to train 2-3 times per week? -
-I was always faty, my grandma is fat, my mother, father, sister are fat. -
-I have frends, who don't do sports, eat what they want, do what they want and they are looking greath. -
And when I ask, tell me what you are eating and i am about to kill myself and i am constantly searching for a way to explane, that their lifestyle sucks. Seriously those are the questions of my clients and i am always telling them, what you are going to tell. -You are not on a diet, your nutrition is going to be healty for life- -In order to stay in shape, you need to put some work in the gym- and so on.

I get zero junk food. No process food. Home make everything. I have tried every diet. Low carb, no fat, keto, etc. I have gone many years in starvation mode. I have done yo-yo diet. I take progress photos to not rely on the scale. I-m currently doing reverse diet. I have only gain 1lb in a 5 weeks of increasing my calories over 1, 000 calories from 1, 500 to 2, 500-3, 000. I-m so frustrated. I know I-m reversing and I-m happy that I-m not gaining weight with this much food but I-m sick of not seeing any results.

Well I think I'm more active than average people my age (exercising every day if possible. body weight workouts and mountain biking, I eat healthier than average people my age (vegetarian diet with lots of fresh vegetables and low amounts of starchy carbs and no junk food, my calorie intake is probably ridiculously low, I even started taking creatine and protein powder. and I'm still stuck at 30%+ body fat. So I don't think this generally applies to everyone.

-Want to drop 5 pounds, 20 pounds or even 60 pounds if not more all without starving yourself --WeightLose. Fitness-- or counting calories? This is entirely possible. I'd been doubtful at first, but when I began The Venus Factor, I was impressed at the results. The system is so easy to grasp and put to work in your life. I am not going to reveal to you how much I lost, but I wanted to share the information for anyone else planning to slim down. -

I haven't included processed meat/grains/dairy or anything with added sugars in my 1200 calorie diet in 3 months and I'm stuck at 225 pounds. Granted, down from 320, but I still feel like I'm in the 30-40% category and you telling me that my problem is not white rice instead of brown rice, but eating too much french fries or toast crunch or whatever when in fact I haven't touched any food that was fried or made with flour is a bit aggravating.

Why your not losing fat the truth is insulin brotha. You never had an insulin problem because you ate clean and lifted weights your whole life so you stayed extremely insulin sensitive. But the general public has an insulin problem. Their insulin is always high, storing fat, and in starvation
mode. Lowering insulin is the key to weight loss. That is why Keto, Carnivore and fasting diets work to lower insulin and lose weight.

I liked this, and it was helpful, but it felt like it was missing the most important last minute. I'm new to you, so how do I know which of your other information applies to the 30%-40% part of the scale, so I don't focus on the wrong things and hold myself to an impossibly perfect standard starting out?
