Love the video! Always do, just that it was fun to have Jesse take the reins for the day! There is always the expert, just that I have found with anything in life, you also can learn different helpful tid bits from the apprentice just as well! Thank you for sharing! I've gotten back into the gym after some health issues (still working through some. But all is good, just needed to take better care of myself as I age (I'm 46 years young now. I've steered clear of the deadlift as I was starting up (fearing knee joints, and lower back. But such a wonderful compound lift. I noticed you specifically stated that those shouldn't be feared so much. Would you recommend me trying out and going from there? Do you happen to have a good video that goes even more into the proper ways / techniques of this (so that I get my head on straight before trying? Thanks as always for your videos and help / advice!

how long has this guy been training, probably for 10 years? and look, he doesn't look like Dwayne Johnson or Jeff at all. this suggests that not everyone is given to be a rock, that every gram of muscle is achieved with great difficulty. and do not believe in the stories that it is easy to gain 10 kg of muscle in a year. it is not easy. rather, it is easy only for the physically gifted. it's normal to look only slightly better after a couple of years than before

Tom bradshaw Killswitch episode nr 86, 109, 142, 62, 66, 73, 135, 94 are very good listening ideas if you want to do some long intense interval based exercise under the sounds of tech, trance and powerfull sounds with regularly high, uplifting bpm and chorus. Hip hop, easy listening and pop bullcrap completely deflate and bore me

Sorry question in regards to the single lat pull downs. I've always seen (just watching at the gym) this done with more of an angle (so I step away more to give a 45 deg angle. Yours looked a lot more vertical. May I ask what the differences are here and should I perhaps do both or maybe just not doing the most beneficial one? Thanks!

I have been watching Jeff for about four years I m a competitive power lifter I feel Jeff is a complete deal I m all in favor of new talent but not in favor of somebody trying to ride on somebody else s talent.
If you want make your name do it on your own earn it
Just my opinion

Liked seeing this. I ve been trying to increase my deadlift weight so it s nice to see examples with Jessie. I notice he switches from double overhand with warmup weight then over under position on working sets.
Maybe that s one I need to try when adding weight is hand position over under. I ve always kept double over hand

Jesse, you are an inspiration! You really help compliment Jeff as I noted in a previous comment. 485lbs + as well as the fact that we all know you can go over 500lbs is incredible! The two of you are so very helpful and helping me to strive to be a better me. Thank you!

This may sound like a critique but it's more of a concern - it feels like Jesse has forward shoulders. Seeing him deadlift without properly protracted shoulders looks dangerous. I could be wrong but I feel Jeff would definitely suggest him some face pulls.

His whole documented progress of his physique is important for people who are incredibly ignorant when it comes to expectations when you are a natural lifter. Too many are fooled by the liars in the fitness industry who abuse steroids.

Good call Jesse! You can't go wrong with deadlifts! They are the GOAT of exercises IMO! And major props brother for getting 518 above your knees! My goal is to get to 500 on hexbar DL by the end of the year. I'm currently at about 440.

Love the warm up exercises with the bands. Just tried them and they hit almost exactly like a kettlebell. The tips also make warming up easy, so no need to rush or skip that step.
The things we overlook thanks for the vid Jesse!

Nice work Jesse. Solid pull day. Question: why on the heavy deadlifts do you do a fast grip and pull? Why not get positioned well, grip set, then lift? I find the fast grip and pull is prone to more potential injuries. Thoughts?

Jesse - let the exposed skin dry then get a Compeed on it. It will then be a 2nd skin until the skin underneath heals. You should also be able to keep training in the meantime, pain free!
Keep up the hard work!

Can someone tell me what that magical device at 2: 47 is that aids in loading the bar? I wish my gym had that. Besides that, always great to see the work Jesse has put in. You are a great man to emulate.

No more of this. Bring back Jeff. If I knew I was just gonna watch some noob workout I would have skipped this. I had hope there would be some kind of redeeming value. None what-so-ever.

Definitely would love to see more of these! I admire how you recovered/compensated for the failures that you were getting with the deadlift and still put the effort in the other exercises!
