God had nothing to do with this. He himself made the decision to do so.
As with anything in your life, you can only accomplish what you set out to accomplish. And this is evident with those things that radically change your life. This is like quitting smoking. There is no magic method, not even belief in God, that makes you quit. Stop smoking, or being fat, the day you decide for yourself, inside yourself, in your own will, that you want to quit, that you want to stop being fat.
If you believe that God did it then you haven't really done it. If you believe that it was something other than yourself, then you haven't really done it. It's just placebo.

I love this guy. Incredible story. Incredible God! I'm not as bad as he was at the beginning of his story, but when he said -I'd never given this over to God, - I realized I'd never done that either. Wow.

Thank you for the inspiration I-ve never thought about asking the Lord to help me with a weight loss journey as soon as you said that I immediately pause the vid and I started to pray asking God to join me in this Journey and guid me.

If a -god- won't give us the final cure for cancer then why the hell would he help you lose a few pounds, or find a good parking spot, or score a touchdown (Mr. Tebow, etc?
