I take creatine HCL not monohydrate. Yes, I know it’s not a pre workout supplement but I mostly just use creatine HCL for energy instead of pre workout supplements since creatine produces energy giving you less rest time between sets. But if I have enough energy before the gym then I’ll take Creatine HCL with my isolate protein after the gym. I’m not trying to get really big, not trying to become The Hulk. So I’m not worrying to much about building ha lot of muscle but if I do I won’t complain. I did gain 4. 5 pounds in muscle in 4 months though and I don’t eat too much. also my body fat went down to 4. 3%.

Creatine Monohydrate is a overrated supplement. Trust me it doesn't show any results just like steroids. I have seen many people promoting creatine for huge muscle growth and lowering body fat. Trust me i was using it since 5 years. It will not work in that way at all. It will help to lift heavier in the gym thats it. Heavier in the sense 2. 5kg extra not too heavy. So I think u got my point.

I can only recommend people to stay away from Creatine. It draws water and you do have water in and around your brain which causes serious and dangerous headaches. This will probably be more known and proven in the future but I already know this from having experienced it twice. And no, drinking more water doesn’t help.

I just ended using creatine after taking it for the first time ever, as my package was empty. I for sure did not see nor measure any diference, a slight maybe in endurance, but thats inconclusive.
So i'm curious what the near future will show me when it's fully depleted, i dont expect any real difference.

I say take the money wasted on those supplements and just put it towards normal food. You can easily get enough creatine from your diet in you put in the research. But if wanting to looked extra ripped helps with being self conscious, go for it.

I was hoping he would answer the real question, if you take creatine long term and then stop, can your body produce or synthetise creatine from food itself, like before the long term use, or does it lose its ability as been said before

I stopped taking creatine out for 30 days, and nothing changed. It's now been 31 days, and I don't notice any differences in my muscles. All measurements are the same as they were before I started taking creatine.

Why would anyone ever stop using it It's the best supplement in the world. The most researched and the best effects for a very low price.

There has been one research (so low reliability) but creatine had been shown to be bad for your eyes if you’re not fully hydrated.
