She is suggesting to add weight. Yes, training heavy is generally the way to go for building big glutes. But this video is about the Glute Medius. Glute Medius and Minimus don't benefit from super heavy work! Heavy weights will not adequately isolate these muscles. So she suggests to go heavy and then goes ahead to demonstrate exercises for which no heavy weight can be used. Exercises 2 and 3 are prime examples of this. They do not allow for heavy weights being added due to the nature of the movement, unless bands are being used. This video is another example of random BS being spouted. Very disappointing. -

So is the glutes minimums more like the top part of the glutes or the side or is it the medius the side because when I search up exercises for the gluteus medius it says it's the upper glutes. I'm confused
