POP Pilates: Muffintop Massacre - Blogilates
video description
Anyway, my personal favorite oblique exercises are: up-up-down-downs, plank with hip dips, side plank with hip dips, side plank reaches, heel touch crunches laying on the back, leg up x-crunches trying to reach the opposite feet, crossbody mountain climbers and many more.
These laying on the side-kind of moves are just not for me. Anyway, much love to Cassey and Blogilates, she always manages to cheer me up and she is the reason why i'd love to become a fitness instructor!

Great moves, but please, why all the talking? You could talk before or after (just a proposal. Concentration is really important according to psychology, especially for newbies in any domain. How am I supposed to listen to you and do exercises same time? I found this really annoying and disagreeable. I just had to mute the video cus it was really too much but. I need talks that help me concentrate on what I'm doing, so doing it mute wasn't that great either. Anyway, it's just my humble view and I'm just one tiny person in a large universe. No offense meant please. I really appreciate the moves, but I'm never going to try doing this workout again.

So I'm getting back into working out and my friend suggested these videos. Over a year ago I had major knee surgery and I am still trying to loose weight for my knee problems. I'm happy I was able to get through this whole video with only skipping the first exercise on the left side. That's the knee I had the surgery on so I am still unable to have it in a position where I have it bent and sitting on it. I know my limits and I will keep doing this and hopefully sometime I will be able to do that exercise on the left side.

When doing all these exercise (except candlestick) my hip bones felt as though they were being ground into the floor (admittedly it doesnt help that I lose balance and roll over my hip, though there tends to be discomfort from the beginning. This actually happens whenever doing any similar exercises. I always use a mat, and Ive tried different ones in case its just a matter of my mat not being thick/soft enough. Anyone else have the same problem? Am I doing these exercises wrong?

I have a problem, when I try to lay on my side, my hip hurts A LOT and I can't keep my hips straight, I have to lean a little bit more on my bottom and it won't hurt. But I feel like it's wrong, like it shouldn't hurt and that I need to lay on my hips nicely in order to make the best out of the workout, does anyone know why this happens? Maybe it's normal and I don't know lol

I have 2 questions, so if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it; ) 1. I felt more burn in my arms than my obliques, how can I push myself up with my obliques instead of arms? 2. my hip and shoulder blades press into the mat and it feels like my body is crushing my bones, so is there a proper way to lie on the mat? if so please tell me. thank you so much

I know this is an older video, but Im hoping you or someone will see it and can help me! Is it normal to experience pain at the hip joint when doing any of these exercises? Am I not truly engaging from my core if I am feeling these things in my hip?

Im very late for this but one place that provides beautiful photos (Im into photography and I go here a lot when I visit) is Claremont State Park in NY. It has an excellent view of the Hudson River and looks amazing in all seasons. Love your vids btw!
