There are some cool effects that are better than Anaheim's and I think Anaheim's ambiance is better. They both have good elements. I have to go with the overall feel versus effects, though. Anaheim's feels like its more realistic, has darker lighting, and seems less gimmick-y. Like the park itself, you just feel like it has more character, that its more intimate. Hey, there were some insanely cool effects in this one, but effects aren't everything by a long shot. I'd almost liken it to Pirates. Take the ride layout and scale from Anaheim, combine that with the queues from Orlando/Paris, and the facade from Paris and it'd be the ultimate experience. Yet, the overall feel of Anaheim's (once in the building) gives it an edge (that's a whole other discussion, though. Put some of those new effects into Anaheim's and you'd have an unbeatable experience. The ambiance and intimacy carries the most weight, to me. If you are hung up on just the queue of a ride, then why have the ride? Just have a walk-through. Not to say Indy in Ca has a bad queue. One could definitely argue that large size and scale doesnt always present the most immersive experience.

Am I the only one who thinks that sometimes the blacklight is a little too much in Tokyo Disney Sea's dark rides? I mean, these rides look awesome, but every time I watch a Tokyo ride video there's ALWAYS blacklight and it's pretty bright and nothing looks real, you know? It might just be the camera and these look better in person, or it might just be me.

Thank you for the video. I love Indiana Jones. unfortunely we have no big Indiana Jones ride in Europe. I wished Disneyland Paris has this kind of Indiana Jones ride. this ride has amazing effects i never saw before. like the flash light, fire ball, tornado. it is really great. I live in Germany and we have nice theme parks. but no attraction like this.

Holy cow This is incredible Anyone else agree that this looks significantly faster than Indiana Jones DL Anaheim version? I wonder if they put electric motors on those rather than hydraulic setup on Anaheim ones. Moves way faster. The effects are off the hook too: ) nobody does rides and especially dark rides like Disney. :) I love it.

For those who are scared of taking this thing, heres the thing. Its really not scary at all but its just it has booming loud sound effects. Im 11 and I took it 3 times in a row. Though, screaming makes the experience a whole lot better

I kind of like the one in disneyland more, the only thing i really did like is that flame trowing effect, also the tokio version is missing many lines from Indie in diferent parts of the ride (the snake, the darts room, etc)

So, on opening day of this ride there were people that waited 8 hours for about 3 and a half minutes of jostle-coaster? And cost them 120? Brain surgeons dont even get that kind of wage.

I found that the ride was greatly lacking in sequence or even being in touch with the Indiana Jones theme in any of the aspects of the films.
