hey, this '20, 000 leagues under the sea coca cola' ride looks pretty spiffy. can't wait to go on the 'aladdin mountain dew' ride, but i hear it's not as good as the 'space mountain red bull. 'clever to suspend the subs like that, and the effects were really good. it seems what's lacking in a lot of these rides, particularly the chinese ones, is suspense and thrill. the old rides these were based on often had an illusion of threat that made them a little more exciting on a kiddie level. anyone who's ridden the originals as a kid might agree that there's a kind of wussification that's happened over the years. it honestly surprises me that the haunted mansion hasn't been dumbed down to make it less scary.

Anyone who in this ride is NOT looking sideways and/or down, but instead looking up or keeping an eye on the vehicle in front, will see the track system above. that really is a pity, and destroys the complete illusion. (I don't know WHY the designers were so messy around this point. because, in Peter Pan's Flight, it's also a track above, and that one is almost invisible. That's why there, the flight feels so real. More, at the load station not even the faintest effort was made to hide the track systel. That's not what I call total theming: NEVER-EVER should the technology used, be visible. )

I am Andrew Ryan. And I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? No says the man in Washington it belongs to the poor. Nooo says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to god No says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone I rejected these answers. Instead, I chose something more. I chose the impossible. I chose. Rapture

I love so much how Disney rides are so immersive, and also incredible in engineering, and technically. This is such a massive ride with so much computing going on with all of the ride vehicles keeping spaces apart, all the visual, audio, motion control elements working together getting synced perfectly. Amazing I love it

I literally hated this ride, I felt so claustrophobic and about four kids came off crying. It is a nice idea, but in reality, a bit boring, a bit scary and really disneysea has too many attractions 'riding along through scenes' style of rides. I'd appreciate a few more thrill rides.

I remember the original 20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea ride at Disney World in Orlando FL when I was a kid. It was one of my all-time favorites I was so bummed when they took it out I would love to see them bring it back. It looks like this version has all the bugs worked out

Wow It looks like the bubbles are in the glass and the subs travel without water. It took a minute, but things didn't look quite right, (like the bubbles don't pull away on the curves, and there is no refractive light bends and images.

If I could stop time and wander around anywhere. to heck with Fort Knox, I would take a hike through this ride on foot Look at all the set pieces and details up close. maybe sit down and have lunch in those Atlantis ruins.

If you look up at the wall inside the submersible, there is a depth meter. The meter shows that the submersible is sinking when the submersible is dragged in the deep sea. Trivia from Japanese Disney fun

Absolutely genius, this ride does an amazing job of making you think you are under water. And the theming and ride are absolutely beautiful and well done. I really wish I could go here.
