This is the carbon copy of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom version that is themed to Utah's monument valley and mirror-images California version but not exact due to many replacements/differences such as before the coaster reaches the second lift hill, it enters a slightly long dark cave a la California Disneyland, instead of the ghost town of Tumble Weed, then when the coaster turns left after exiting the third lift hill, which is before the bone yard, the coaster keeps going straight to the cave whereas in WDW it goes further left to a bats' cave then the coaster exits the cave turning left and gets to the bone yard. Then the ending after the bone yard is also different compared to WDW version; the coaster enters one more cave then turns right until returning to the loading area whereas WDW version, the coaster turns left and no cave scene after passing the bone yard reaching the loading area.

I still feel like the Paris version is better, as soon as you get out the station you immediately go downhill and start zooming underwater into a cave and you can feel the wind on your face, its especially best at the back. If you compare the other versions to Paris they seem more tame, however Id say this would be 2nd after Paris as you can see the big drop at the end

Probably my favorite Big Thunder Mountain. Have not been on the Paris version yet. That portion of the bat cave plus the last drop into the Dinosaur graveyard is awesome, the speed in that area is a great finale to the ride that the Disneyland version doesn't have. Also, love that the Primeval World is attached to it.

I've only been on the one at disneyland paris but I really enjoyed it (Even in the freezing cold)I like how you go onto the island and you go down 2 drops in the pitch black - I didn't know they were coming

This attraction is amazing, the lighting is incredible. Its so beautiful at night including the dips and turns during the ride make it unique and fun.

so sad Shanghai Disneyland doesnt have Big Thunder Mountain Railroad like other Disneylands. This looks so much more fun than seven dwarfs mine train.

I like the one at Disneyland Paris, because the track goes underneath the river. This one here is pretty similar to the one at Paris.
