I just went to ride this last Friday and its actually the first time riding this tho it opened for some time already I was still kinda scared and nobody will ride with me. However in the last summer I went to Florida and visited Walt Disney and universal studios and played a lot of exciting rides and then in the Chinese New Year holiday I went to tokyo Disneyland and Disney sea and played a lot and in this summer I actually went to HKDL twice but for the first time I didnt ride the exciting rides (aka roller coasters) cuz my friend is reallyyyy not into those so the second time I ride this the first time. Honestly its not really scary comparing to big thunder railway and expectation Everest So like this ride is kind of a mixture of both of the rides and also some mine train as the theme is something like mining and stuff But after all the real exciting rides this is nothing honestlyComparing to expectation Everest, this is much of a softer ride as when the track goes backwards its not as thrilling nor fast Its still a good ride I think as after the back drop thing you will go really fast something like the rock n roll in Hollywood studio in Florida but I guess its apparently slower but its still thrilling Idk what am I saying but like when u are used to those more thrilling rides u will think these are just really nothing to be scared of Btw Im from Hong Kong so sorry for bad english

On Everest part of the excitement is the waiting before you know you ride backwards. I know it's because they need to change the track, but you can feel that omg-feeling get stronger and stronger until you go. Especially first time you ride it. This was going up and without any delay, it went backwards. I don't know what I like better, I'd have to experience it myself. SoCal: have you been on Expedition Everest and if so, what do you like better? The suspension of waiting or the immediate backwards riding?

I'd give this top marks based on comprehensive theme and attention to detail alone. It's a mine car track, if it existed in reality it is meant to transport things in and out of a mine, so it isn't supposed to have crazy drops or wildly banked curves. This is exactly how it should look, and - if this video is anything to judge by - also how it should feel. Fun

I think I might like this one better. It has more speed in that last catapulted section that gives it an extra thrill TM has always lacked. To be honest, some of the best rides I have had on Thunder were at night while looking backwards from the last car. You really get whipped around, and the reverse view makes the turns and hops more unexpected. Try it.

Some cool elements. but definitely prefer Big Thunder Mountain over this ride. More actual mountain in big thunder, this ride slows down to many times, no bunny hop hills to make you pop out of your seats either. while an ok ride, I would say its more of a companion ride to Big Thunder. like if it was built next to it, would be kind of cool.

My cousins and I did NOT expect the launch. So for y'all saying it seems like it's dull and a bit slow for a coaster. IT. ISN'T. We were all like that too when the whole forward motion was going on, and we were even chatting on-ride about how nice the atmosphere was for the ride. Until the launch got us all screaming.

Its the same manufacturer as Everest and same exact coaster cars but its not overall as good. The launched section is fun and seems to much faster in person. Everest is sorta better in every way but that doesn't make this a bad coaster
