[HD] Tour of a Semi-Abandoned Amusement Park in China. Some online websites refer to this park as Fake Disneyland theme park. The actual name is Shijingshan Amusement park and is located in Beijing, China. The reason why we called it Semi abandoned is because half of the rides and attractions in this park are actually abandoned or in a state of disrepair/ruins. You can actually see for yourself in the video. Video recorded May 2018 at Shijingshan (Bajiao) Amusement Park in Beijing, China.

This is the park that got sued back in 2007-2010 (forgot the specific year) because they are using some Disney characters for their meet and greets. Not only by that, their merchandises surrounds around Mickey and his friends. After that, the park removed it all. There is some videos in YouTube back in it's prime when this park used to be surrounded by huge crowds but that was the time when they have the knock-off Disney characters. Well, we also have a knock-off Disney Park here in the Philippines. It is now standing abandoned and never finished but the castle is still so beautiful to look at. Exploring with Josh and Exploring with Cody went on that park.

This was depressing to watch. It is a shame that so much land, time, and money was invested in this park for them to bootleg Disney. With so many non-functioning rides that are accessible, I am wondering how many injuries occur from people just wandering around. It is almost as if they just felt compelled to fill a large plot of land, just because it was there, with no real plan, aside from knocking off Disney. smh.

Just to clarify, this park is not semi closed its actually running and its great, its such a childhood memory to a lot of the local people who live in Beijing and it will always be a huge trip down memory lane. I visit during summer breaks and its actually quite crowded. but I do think they were trying to coy Disney land so theres that lol, always awesome video

This reminds me of two things. A dead mall, where 95% of the shops are empty, and only a Sears or a Macy's remains. And, a Super Walmart a few months after opening. They start out with 48 cash registers, fully staffed with people, but you come in a few months after they have opened, and they only have two cash register people working at any time.

This is really cool to see. I can't imagine the effect or feeling you get from actually seeing it in person. While the creepy log ride you posted earlier looks harmless, I'd be hesitant to try any of the mechanical flat rides or that Giant Ferris Wheel knowing the physical state most of the park is in. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi thank you for your amazing video The theme park was used for a music video in 2008, the mv is called Cotton Candy and it's sung by Top Combine, a Chinese boyband who still makes (amazing) songs. I was wondering if I could make a comparison video of the mv together with your video (credited of course) thanks in advance

as a native i would like to say the amusement park was once the most fantastic theme park in bj. However, with the opening of happy valley and the upcoming universal studio in bj, of course Disneyland in ShanghaiThe old-fashioned park seems to be dead. Maybe in a few yrs, the area will become commercial real estate

So they are still charging admission and everything is shut down? It must not be as litigious there as it is here. they have almost no visible employees, if it was here in the U. S. someone would sue the heck out of them if they got hurt stumbling around those closed but accessable rides.

thought this name sounds familiar i remember now that i went there 20 years ago to this park as a school field trip. some of the stuff are still there bringing back some memories. btw the sky is actually blue with clouds in beijing right now? that's rare

Is there a bigger more state of the art theme park in Beijing that is stealing their business? It looks like a pretty cool place to me, despite the outdated rides. We always hear stories about how horribly polluted China is, but this place looks beautiful.
