Disney needs to perfect the flight over London model, and give it a bit more hyper-detailing with deeper/broader depth of perception. Tone down the lights The city's architectural lighting have the same size dots throughout, and the downlighting over the city is too well lit from above, giving the feel of a miniature model, instead of a truer feeling of being high above the imaginary city. A lot of animated cartoony projection mixed with solid, yet, semi-static animatronics interupts the continuity of the ride. The children in animatronic form need to literally TAKE FLIGHT into the midnight sky, not projected figures on a screen. With acception to the projected Tinkerbell, as she should be dipping and dodging all around you throughout the entire ride This is not just a kid's ride. It'a family ride from, which, the youngest kids are just as sophisticated as the adults, nowadays Extend the fly-through time, vary the flight speed and slow-down over the sightseeing island areas, placing the classic group of mischievous children, to the Indian Cheif, etc, and you will have the perfect Peter Pan's Magical Flight ride in all the theme parks around the world

This is so much better than the other parks versions I normally dont like screens, but I think that they used them wisely here, and with all of the fast motion that is involved in this ride (Peter Pan and the Darlings flying, Peter and Hook fighting) the screens fit very well. And I love how on this one you can tell that its a story, youre going on the adventure with the characters. On the American versions it more feels like youre watching them from above, and it doesnt feel as much like a story, more that youre just looking at Neverland. Can they PLEASE redo all of the other versions to this

its NICE, definitely but I think I prefer the OG Disneyland one. the flight over london felt dragged out and maybe its just because the camera is set up to pick up light better but imo london and neverland just felt too brightly lit. also, I don't mind projections and screens but this felt overpowered with them? I do have to admit that the splash water effect on the floor was really nice, though. my biggest gripe? WHERE ARE THE PRETTY MERMAIDS I LOVE THE PRETTY MERMAIDS

This is incredible What a near-perfect blending of old and new tech. I'm sad they took out the mermaids, though (they're my second-favourite bit, after seeing the Island from a distance, hanging suspended in the stars. And I agree with other Commenters, London looked a little flat. Overall, though, GOSH Shanghai knows how to do immersive

So this new version is awesome, but there are components I liked from Anaheim. I liked that the boats are smaller (this sucks for families though) and are continuous on/off. I also liked Anaheims flying over London better. It felt more like you were actually over London. I also like the original soundtrack over this one.

This is pretty cool I like the technology in this one and how much longer it is then at Disney world but I like the one at Disney world because it feels like you're flying through Neverland not around it. And the city scene at Disney world has more buildings and looks more like a city. But I love this version too it's really cool.

Omg the Paris one is extremely old and rigidity and the animatronics are originals so if u stare at them you can see how dodgy they are but the bit were you fly over London and the blue lagoon are the same as Paris so theres a lot of similarities but this one is executed better

Is it really that much better? They just threw in some digital projectors for those animated cinematics. I know it's the imagineers way of plussing the experience but it seems rather lazy when they have actual animatronics to make it a full-on 3-dimensional experience.

It's so amazing how technology has changed. All new Disney theme parks get the classic Disney rides but highly advanced. It's unfortunate that the original park which started it all seems to be the less talked about in media and social circles.

This version is actually worth the wait I think they need to update the other versions. Disneyland is too small to accommodate this version - unless they do a new Fantasyland and extend the building. That's within the realm of possibility.
