[4K] Jurassic Park Ride - NOW CLOSED at Universal Studios Hollywood

Jurassic Park the Ride is now closed for a massive transformation over to Jurassic World Ride. We got to experience Jurassic Park the ride for the final time last week before it goes extinct. An immersive Jurassic World Ride will replace Jurassic Park Ride. The new ride is scheduled to open in 2019 at Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride video was filmed in August 2018. Since the falling jeep wasn't working in the first clip of the video, we've decided to add another footage that we recorded last year to show how it looks like if everything was working properly. As a added bonus, you will also get to see the new Blue raptor meet and greet from Jurassic World at the end of the video.

Man they got rid of all the classics. Jurassic park, king kong, jaws, back to the future. no matter what back to the future the ride will always be my favorite movie attraction at universal and glad I got to experience all those original rides going there as a kid in the nineties I even remember going to a taping of double dare and seeing the gacc fountain. To me personally universal was such a magical place and I would go there and went there any day over Disney. Every attraction at universal during the nineties was pretty much a Steven Spielberg related movie lol.

A better ride would have been one that was exactly like the Jurassic ParK tour in the original movie, you get into a JP decked out SUV on a track and drive around through the park and see the dinosaurs and stops like in the movie, then it stops at the T rex pin and starts raining and the cables break and T rex comes over the wall, then u gotta get out of ur suv and run for a jeep that a park worker drives up in and hop on the back and get away.

I hate to say it but this feels superior to the new one. I know they were losing the rights to Jurrasic Park which is why they needed to move to Jurrasic World but the new ride now has fewer dinosaurs, not more. Less dynamic features, not more. I miss the long necks in the lagoon the most. They should have gotten a much needed improved animatronic instead of replacing the whole thing with a screen hall

are they changing it at orlando too? I saw the new Jurassic World ride on youtube and they ruined it in my opinion. They got rid of so many animatronics and now its 3D screens and I don't like it and they got rid of the car falling down scene. I hope they don't change it in Orlando. Jurassic Park was my favorite in Hollywood. LOVED It. Hope they keep it like that in Orlando.

Watching the old and new side by side really shows that the old one was much more magical. The new one now seems overly reliant on elements such as screen projecting stuff instead of actual physical animatronics. The old stuff is a lot more immersive and simply fun. It's a much more open attraction with lots to notice whereas the new one is just empty nothingness.

The only thing I like better about this one is that the T-Rex was really close to you but in the newer one it is not. In this one, it gives you the illusion that youre about to get eaten but then you escape while the newer one is like, walks up to you Rawr XD you falldino puts head downWeLl WhAtA yA kNoW tHeY eScApEd Oh No-

I tricked my mom into riding this when I was six years old. She about strangled me then and there because she HATES water drops. Like, really hates em. I told her there were no falls, just an easy dino ride. :) the crowd was staring as she yelled at six year old me with my lil shiteating grin. I'm still proud of that.

With today's technology and advancements in Audio Animatronics both versions could be so much better. But the beginning of the new version seems too safe' and sparse. the build up takes too long With such an invaluable asset in Universals ownership, I'd have all the ride scenes overrun with dinosaurs
