[HD] A look at 2 King Kong Animatronics from Universal Studios Hollywood and Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort. The 1st clip shows a King Kong animatronic in Skull Island: Reign of Kong ride at Islands of Adventure Universal Orlando. The 2nd clip is from King Kong Encounter that was part of Universal Studios Backlot Tour before it was destroyed in 2008 Universal Fire. So which King Kong animatronic do you prefer? King Kong Encounter? or Skull Island: Reign of Kong? John: I miss the old Orlando Kongfrontation. Two Kongs for the price of one and you got to see his feet. I always pity the cast member in the Werewolf costume. I always imagine him thinking, I don't need this job, I went to Julliard for God's sake!

There's always been something fishy about the Universal fire. Particularly after they lied about how much music and film/TV was actually destroyed. I honestly think they saw the old Kong as past it's time and this fire was a happy accident for them.

I really like the Orlando-version. On my first ride I had to take my glasses off just to check if its 3D or real. xDThe design of the older one would fit a bit better, looks creepier.
