[4K] Exploring & swimming in a hidden gem thermal cave in Mexico. Grutas Tolantongo is a thermal water park and it's one of the coolest attractions you can visit when you are in Mexico. It's located 3. 5 hour drive northeast of Mexico City. Water flowing into and out of the cave was very warm and humid.
After visiting the cave and tunnel, you can go and relax in the beautiful blue thermal mininal-rich flowing river.
While in the dark section of the grotto we also saw several bats flying above us as you can see in the video.
We highly recommend booking a group or private tour to get you to Grutas Tolantongo as it's much safer in our opinion. The average price of the tour is 150 per person. Grutas Tolantongo is a hidden gem attraction that many still don't know exists.
