You millennials are way too generous with the Knott's praise. It was the white trash/ghetto Disneyland back in the day and still sucks today. Coasters are crap compared to Six Flags and the dark rides (only 3) are becoming stale. The kiddie land is just cheap rides that go in a circle and rest of the park is carnival rides. They are too cheap to even theme their carnival rides. They could open up the storage area by Ghostrider and fit 2 decent attractions, but again they are too cheap. Not much to do their except kick rocks after an hour or two.

This place has taken a huge turn downward. Good bye family oriented western themed park and say hello to pure puke park. It's all about selling you a soda for 7. 00 or a bag of m&ms for 4. 00 while standing in a line that used to take 10 minutes when the Knotts family owned it into a 70 minute line now. Maybe it should just go out of business.

I was there in 1975, has changed a bit The best part was the train robbery, which, as a child, I thought it was an actuallyrobbery, guys dressed up as cowboys, firing blanks, they robbed everyone. I guess my parents got their watches back, at the end of the day. It was awesome.

2017 marks Cedar Fair's ownership of Knott's Berry Farm. Cedar Fair bought the park from the Knott family in 1997, that was 20 years ago. Cedar Fair's done a great job with Knotts over the last 5 years by upgrading the current rides.

I miss the der rides, like Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Soapbox Racers, Sky Jump. In my opinion, there are too many roller coasters. It might as well be called Magic Mountain. I would still visit for Nostalgic purposes.
