I love this ride so much, but I'm afraid everyone's scrutiny on the effects that can be off sometimes is part of what's pushing theme parks to switch from these beautiful practical rides to 3-d rides that rely on screens and glasses. I don't hate those, I'm just a lover of practical effects over animated. I think the immersion is much better, even if the effects are out of SINK, everything is so detailed you don't notice it as much.

I love this ride. I'm so glad that's I'm tall enough to go on this which I went on last summer. I went on it four times a different projection each time. There two rides I whet on four times. This one and the Cars ride. I would have gone on Cars two times but I got paint each time but on the fourth and final time I finally got tires

I remember when I was a kid, my family, friends and I went on this and got into the same jeep, and I managed to get in the driver's seat of the jeep. Just as we got to the large animatronic Cobra, I can hear my mom yelling at me to turn the wheel and get us out of there, but I couldn't as the steering wheel is stuck in place.

In a ride with so many intense practical effects, I get that not everything can be perfectly synched every single time. But the boulder not resetting / advancing is seriously unforgivable. Like, when the boulder doesn't work, it should trigger a quick reset of the system to resync the effects or something.

2: 37 - 2: 48 I've ridden this ride so many times and I still dont get what that part is supposed to be. Its all dark and it looks like there's supposed to be screens, like if something didnt work and then there's the fog with the projection of the branch. Can anyone explain what's up with that?

Unfortunately with this update they removed a lot of sound/musical cues, they kinda f-cked it all up honestly. Watch sharp productions vid of this ride from 2013, now that's the ride I know and love. The music and cues are SO much better. Really hope they fix that: (
