With the success of Mystic Manor, Pooh's Hunny Hunt, and the Ratatouille ride, as well as the eventual inevitable success of the Beauty and the Beast ride and WDW Ratatouille clone (and Rise of the Resistance is trackless, count two of those, you'd think that Disney would have beaten Empire of the Penguin as the first trackless ride in Florida, and have more than two (maybe four if Rise of the Resistance is trackless) on the way. I wouldn't mind if they made a few more of these, especially if every single one of them were such a success. It's kind of weird, I must say, that Disney was a little late to Trackless Technology, when it's literally the beloved Arrow Antique Car that they used on their OG classics (Snow White, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and, opening several years after the park opened, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, just with greater capability and fewer limitations. I love Omnimovers and Antique cars as much as the next guy, but I do hope we get more remarkable trackless ones. Disney, are you going to let SeaWorld Entertainment (Curse of DarKastle, Empire of the Penguin) and Universal (well, actually, their trackless rides aren't as great, but they're still there Skull Island, Reign of Kong, Fast in Furious (Not actually) Supercharged) beat you with the title of: Best/Most Beloved Trackless Dark Ride in North America, without doing anything?

I think they recently changed some of the parts, when I went in 2017 there was an actual full size bow n arrow and it pointed at you then swung you around to see the poor little monkey. then after that part of the scene was wet and it actually flung a bit of water at the guest. I was actually super shooken up by this ride because it is a lot darker in there than it appears. The Toy Story rides were also very crazy, the parachute one drops you from a extremely high height and my 4 year old was just tall enough to go on, very scary also

They didn't have this ride when I went to Hong Kong Disneyland so I imagine it is not that old. The Disneyland in Hong Kong looked like the original Disneyland when it first opened in Anaheim. The park I think had only been open for a year or two so it was amazing how everything looked brand new and the paint was unfaded. Also, no major crowds. Was like stepping back in time. Not a single piece of litter. I hope the park still looks the same as I left it.

This ride is amazing and is one of my favourites. Tokyos Winnie the Pooh is amazing too. The part with the urn coming to life and the little man fighting the lion and hopping out of the urn completely is just so well done. The effects on the paintings too are crazy Pompeii exploding and the lava covering all the people is just so cool. Totally recommend visiting HK just for that ride. The best thing is, there is hardly ever a long line for this ride either

lol, how cute. i love the trackless buggies and am curious how the magic light effect is done. imagine if china's culture permitted a haunted house ride, that would be terrifying probably too scary for kids, especially american kids who would need their own safe spaces afterwards. it's a cute story, too, unlike the haunted mansion's piecemeal elements (which is part of its charm, imo.

This is Phenomenal I mean PHE-NO-MEN-AL More lifelike animatronics than in all of Disney World in that one set of rooms there The video interaction was top notch with props even falling into scenes Oh and let's not even talk about the trackless, computerized programmed cars. WoW Mouth dropped open from the start - still open at the end. Pry me from that seat. I'm going again

I do not understand why the American Disney parks do not have rides of this calibre. Disney began in the US and yet the international Disney parks have better ride systems, high quality tech and larger amounts of thrill rides and rollercoasters. I understand some Disney US rides are old as the parks in themselves are old, but it's time to upgrade to rides like this

WOW. the wall break was fantastic. I dunno know the benefits of 'trackless'. I guess I'm old school even on a track the riders are a bit more centralized in the action. not in an large warehouse room with 6 other groups 'whirling' about. To me it loses a bit of 'focal point' since you can look EVERYwhere. IMHO and that won't even buy you a small cup of coffee.

Whenever there's an attraction in another Disney park other than Disneyland all the Californiians seem to moan they want it, instead of being grateful for what they already have and let other parks have their own unique touch. I never see other parks saying that, just regular Disneyland goers.

I'll always love the original Haunted Mansion but it would be 10x better with this kind of story/animation etc. This was amazing to watch. Disney needs to remember that it's not all about Star Wars and Marvel now (at least in the U. S. - not sure how it is in the international parks)
