[HD] Dunn's River Falls is a famous waterfall near Ocho Rios, Jamaica and a major Caribbean. The climb takes anywhere from 35 min to an hour to complete depending on how fast your tour guide takes you up the gorgerous falls.

I had a blast with the guides. We all worked as a team and helped ea other climb. It was a long time ago. The cold water splashed down my back at one point and WHEW that was chilly lol. They do tell you to watch your jewelry bec the cold water will shrink your fingers and yes ppl have lost jewelry that way. Had a great time esp considering I had no clue what I was doing as I had never been there before.

I climbed the falls a few days ago while on vacation. It was incredibly scary at first and at one point I wanted to turn back. lol the tour guide was very helpful at calming my fears and the group I was with helped also. At 51 I'm not in the best shape but I made it all the way to the top, glad I got to experience this phenomenal place never thought in a million years I would be climbing a waterfall

Some advice for anyone trying this, don't go with a guide. Go by yourself. Guides are annoying because you can't choose the paths to climb, and you're stuck with a big group. Plus you get to move at your own pace.

I did this last year and separated from the group so I could climb other harder paths and I ripped my pants but its still incredibly fun I recommend other to try it when in Jamaica

Ill be heading to Jamaica in a few weeks but had a quick question. Once you make the climb, how do you get back down? Id really love to go to Dunns River Falls while Im there.

I go on a cruise in April, what do you advise me, should I buy the excursion on the boat or can I get someone to take me out and then bring me for less?

Is it always this crowded? I climbed back in the early 90's and I don't remember seeing this many people all climbing up at the same time.
