Hiking in the Pyrenees mountains. We spent 4 days in a road trip traveling and hiking in the High Pyrenees (Hautes-Pyrenees or Altos Pirineos) of France and Spainin rough November weather. As it was our first time visit there, we wanted to get a diverse list of trails, so this video features our final selection of the 4 best day hikes. Two of them are on the French side, the other twoon the Spanish side. These hiking trails best showcase the wild and naked nature of the Pyrenees. The first one lies in France, and it's a hike to the lake of lakes in the PyreneesLac de Gaube (8 km loop with 400m elevation gain. Then, a visit to the majestic waterfall at Cirque de Gavarnie (11 km loop with almost 800m of elevation gain, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Pyrenees Mont Perdu. On the Spanish side, Aragon, we explore a true hidden gemthe 15 km loop (almost 1000m of elevation gain) to the valley of Aguas Tuertas, the Secus mountain, and the grandiose Castillo de Acher. Last but not least, the Ordesa Valley and a hike to Faja Racon with a dizzling detour to the Tozal del Mallo (15 km with 1400m elevation gain. This video includes also some travel tips and where to park your car at the trailheads. The word majestic came to my mind, even before your little one line poem. The colours of the autumnal leaves on the trees, the defined rock layers and the undulating shape of ridges along the sky line are inspiring, to say the least, as you walked and climbed up to the Tozal del Mallo then completed the Faja Racon. You are right, November is a quiet time.

Unbelievable footage, I live near to the Pirenees and it is a pleassure to se other people live those mountains with such emotion.
For your information and for all the viewers, I need to point out that it is forbidden to fly drones in National Parks like Ordesa or similar, in order to not disturb the fauna of the area.
But that been said, what spectacular images you have taken of the valley. Thank you and keep living the mountains with that passion and respect.

Hello,
Thank you for the nice video, very good work from you! We plan to do the Faja Racon hike in about two weeks. Did you need climbing equipment or were you able to tackle the tour without it Is there a GPX track available from this tour
Best regards!

For how long can you leave your car in the parking area before hike and is it free I love to spend up to three days or more days in places like this, as I go for meditational and philosophical purposes. Your info is much appreciated

Brings back memories. We spent two weeks there in late September 1990. Stand out sights were vigne mall, monte perdito, breche de Roland, cirque de gavarnie, ordesa canyon. Excuse spelling mistakes

the earth would be so much more at balance and peace, if the population of a human was smaller. I enjoy watching people who try, understand and feel the nature

The use of drones is totally forbidden in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, as it is clearly signed in many points.

One of the best times to be in the mountains. Solitude and a sense of adventure that is often missing in the busy summer months.
