Top 10 Places To Visit In Greece

I'm moving to Greece in less than two months. More precisely to Crete! I've never been to Greece before. You guys have any tips on what I absolutely have to see/do and what to look out for?

Ryan loves Greece so much yet he hasn't seen even 1% of the country really. Yes it's great that he as a traveler actually thought to go to places like mount Olympus. But again. You should go in spring time and visit much more of Greece's 80% mountains and incredible landscapes. Greece is exceptionally diverse. Not only just 80% mountains, it has 20% of all of Europe's Ultra peak mountains. Which means mountains that rise atleast 1500 meters above it's lowest surrounding point. Switzerland has 8, Austria has 12, and Greece has 19. So Greece truly is a powerhouse when it comes to mountains and landscapes. And yes. wonderful islands. But there are endless more. And yes, wonderful Meteora, but try visit the pindus mountains, Epirus region, Central Greece, Thessaly, Macedonia, Athos holy mountain, Peloponnese all around with it's mountain landscapes like Taygetus. Or Mount Giona and Vardiousia or Karpenisi region and so on and so on. Just Crete alone is incredibly diverse and that is just 1 island.

From zakenthos they take you to this restaurant Where all of the waiters are running to serve people really really really fast because they don t usually get people up in that restaurant so they want to have the best service so they make your order really really quick and then they run and give it to you

would love to go again. I've been to Kos it was lovely. the problem is that they have introduced a tourist tax to be paid on arrival at hotel. it's pet day and goes up with star rating of hotel. it adds up to be quite a lot of money on arrival. slightly off putting unless I find a good deal for next year.

Fell in LOVE with Santorini when we stopped on a cruise. Would love to hang out there in a cave-hotel and a cliff edge pool - love the architecture! Do you not have ANY fears? Your choice of locations for photo ops and your need to cliff dive make me VERY nervous!

RYAN, Next time you must go to Crete! My favorite place in Greece. You would love the Gorge of Samaria, Marmara Beach in Sfakia, Elafonisi beach, city of Chania, Palace of Knossos in Iraklio and much much more to see.

I love Greece! I go every summer and I totally recomend going to Kalamata my favorite Greek City, It feels like a more dialed down Athens and If your there stay at Villa Rebecca life changing
