If you do come in July don't miss out on Kaltenberg on a weekend. There is a big medival maket with tons of actors and one of the bigest if not the bigest Knightstournaments of the world. Your host is the REAL crownprince of bavaria. I am stressing this couse people think I am talking about an reinagtor. No it is his castle and park where it's taking place and he will make sure to show up at every tournament. Everyone loves kids there but dogs are not alowed. And in december the cristmassmarket is magical.

My later Father (an Irishman) said Germany was the best place in the world to spend Xmas. He spent 3 or 4 Xmases in Munich and the surrounding countryside. He said it was beautiful, like a postcard, with fabulous markets and hot food stalls. He recommended as a family destination during Xmas, saying there were so many activities for children.

Wouldn't it be great (with all this talk about how great museums are in this white country) if Egypt received back all its stolen artefacts from Europe to form a great museum in Cairo for all the world to see with respect to its own history? Hmm.

I was lucky enough to be stationed in Munich for 3 years 86-89 and never had to put the cold weather liner in my coat. Its a beautiful city with a fascinating mix of modern and old world. And wonderful people.

and if you use the bayern ticket, ask beforehand which train you can travel with. You are not allowed to use ICE. i live here and once had problems here and had to pay extra.

masks, wash your hands frequently and stay apart to stop the spread of
Covid-19. Take care!

I would like to visit Germany one day. I will not be stopping by a concentration camp while I'm there. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go.
