Wales may have a fair amount of rain but we seldomly have droughts. We even supply large town and cities of England with fresh water. But without the rain Wales would not be as green as it is. As for education when I went to school here in the Wales we knew the Welsh education exam's were way harder than the local educational systems of England were. We often had English exam papers and we found they were so much easier than the Welsh equivalent. Some English exam boards even had multiple choice questions wow that would of been a luxury.

Excellent comments. When God made the World, he made Wales, he looked down on his creation and he said ti St Peter hey Pete, I have made Wales so beautiful, to Beautiful, I must do something to spoil it. St Peter said put England next door, that will ruin anything. there is a good part of being in England of course, one can look over the border and see Wales.

Want to find a nice quiet place to retire. Have six years left. Want to find a piece of land I could maybe lease out for livestock or agricultural purposes and a decent size house. Wondering if I could afford it. Wish I had a better idea of how much it will cost. Wondering if I'll have access to doctors, In my old age. Gotta get out of the US.

When you learn Welsh in school, you're also taught Welsh grammar. I'm very proud of my country's culture, and the language is so beautiful. But soft and hard (nasal) mutations, man (i. e. Cymru, on occasion, turns into Gymru or Nghymru, depending on the word which precedes it)

Saw Llanfair's name and took a solid minute trying to remember the song we were shown in school about how to say the name because my teacher had this mentality that if we could say that we could say any welsh word. Half of us didn't say that.

I'm really appreciative for you to come to my country and show our language and culture, its damming the fact an a respectful American man that doesn't live here has heard horrible tropes towards the Welsh. English people are just horrid

The English have always looked down on the Welsh - as they have the Scots and Irish. Snobs everyone of them. Granddad left for America and never looked back. Chicago was booming and that was his real home.
