Whether visiting Caye Cauler, San Ignacio, Belize City or Cave Tubing and Seeing Mayan sights there are a lot of great culture shocks for travelers when they visit Belize. Here are some fun travel tips and Belizian cultural tips for tourists heading to Belize. Filmed on Caye Caulker, Belize Belizean Creole is not Spanglish. It is British West Indian Creole like they speak in Jamaica, Trinidad, and the rest of the formerly British Caribean. And it is the first language of most people here. Im a west coast guy, San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, that Caribbean climate sucks.
One day over there and Im watching it rain inside my car. Water was dripping off the rear view mirror. San Juan is warm but not crazy Caribbean hot.

Wrong, they speak English on the coast, if you go inside, Spanish is the language that controls because they are next to Guatemala, Mexico. Actually half of the country belongs to Guatemala.
