This is just pure speculation, but I think the reason Marilyn Monroe didn't wear a mask is because her makeup is what makes her so iconic. The beauty mark and red lipstick are both things that add to her signature look, but it's a bit pointless if it's covered in cloth. The other characters in the park have such iconic outfits that they are still recognizable despite having half of their faces covered, but Marilyn's outfit is just a white cocktail dress. Just some food for thought. :)

I go to Universal Studios Hollywood all the time and to ride Forbidden Journey you CAN bring small purses on the ride if they are cross body bags. The only time someone has ever stopped us from riding was my friend took a small umbrella on it which he held in his hand, they made us get off the ride and then asked if he could put the umbrella in his pocket. It had a wrist strap but still, they wanted to make sure there were no loose items.

Any chance you could take a peek at Cowfish the next time youre at CityWalk? I called there last week to make a reservation for my birthday in July, and they said it wasnt open yet. Maybe the guest relations desk nearby knows more than the team member on the phone.

Mask over your nose is not necessary. Everyone covers mouth. water/saliva molecule spread situation resolved. And back to nose cover issue. your eyes would need to be covered as well.

How did you go about cutting the ear holes so they lined up so nicely with your ears? I want to do this with mine but Id probably put the holes in the wrong spot!

Yeah there is no way I would be able to wear a mask all day at a theme park. I'm hoping things will get back to normal by next year.
