Went this year in january.
Paris has great monuments and museums, they're all very beautiful and, in my opinion, I think that is what's keeping Paris great otherwise I was very disappointed.
People (french people in general, when we talked to them in english we were ignored, when we tried to speak french we were ignored) they were rude, the streets aren't that clean as everyone thinks and it's full of immigrants trying to rob you.
We were four and stayed for a week and people tried to rob us 3 times (opening our bags, putting their hands on our pockets, trying to scam us)
It is beautiful and it would be even more beautiful without people

Quoi la merde, you walk around the most expensive places in Paris. If someone on a student budget wants to have, say, a croisssant and a coffee, it wouldn't cost more than 1, 50 euros in any Pomme de Pain untill 11h, and 2-course meals for 1015 euros are not so rare in Montmartre or Quartier Latin. There are some way less expensive hosts for air bnb if not willing to be on any central arrondissement, which is quite possible due to metro/RER. If staying for a week, would surely recommend getting a weekly navigo pass to have access to all public transport 24/7 for 22 euros. Anyway, there are many less expensive manners of knowing Paris.

Great video especially the tips on travelling to Paris. Totally agree about the walking as it's such a great city to do this. One tip I'd give is to have lunch just after the notre dame visit then you can walk it off on that hour walk to the Eiffel tower.
