Thank you for being honest about your sadness Jen, I totally get what you mean. I lost my best buddy, my cat Kumba, earlier this year and I get moments like this too. We have always had Thanksgiving checklists. Sorts out who is doing what and at what time. We have our smart speaker announce reminders for the time each person needs to start prep, the time the item needs to start cooking, and when it should be finished. All the food is hot and ready to serve at the same time.

Missing and remembering Bandit shows you- like the rest of us- are only human and will miss those we love around the holidays. I love your Thanksgiving meal with steak! My fave. Everything looked yummy. Jackson was sure smiling and laughing at everything LOL. Him scared of the tree, sharpy. it looks pretty and can't wait for decorating to start.

I feel your pain on missing your dog around the holidays. We had 4 at one time and was wonderful. Now we have none and yes it is very empty at times. I have all their pictures on our wall so we see them daily. Love watching you all. Merry Christmas!

I always called it stuffing too but a few years ago I learned that its called stuffing if its inside of a turkey or stuffed but its called dressing if you just serve it on its own on the side.

You might not ever see this but they sell small turkey breasts pre sliced. I just have a family of 4 and we dont travel for thanksgiving anyway so just buy that and its the perfect size.
