At 5: 12 you actually drove across a funeral. Over here in America black is for funeral but in Vietnam, White is the color. They have like a whole ceremony with dancers, monks, and I think fire performers. it's more lit than a wedding, then again there's gonna be crying all that jazz.

Two of the major things putting me off from motorbiking Vietnam is being in the middle of nowhere and my bike breaking down, or perhaps getting robbed(probably a lot less common) any input you could give on those 2 things? I want to do it but can't get myself to actually decide.
