I spent 3 years of my life breaking the Guinness World Record for the Youngest Person to Travel to Every Country. I broke the previous world record, which had only been held by men, by over 3 years! Traveling to 196 countries was an incredible experience and I feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to do so at my age. There were so many ups and downs along the way and one of the hardest aspects of breaking this record wasn't even related to travel, it was the evidence required to prove that I had traveled to every county! 6 full months of intense organization after years of procrastination, I was able to submit nearly 7, 000 pages of documentation in chronological order to Guinness World Records. I thought I had done everything by the book until I received an email that added 100 days onto my record. In the end, I broke the Guinness World Record at 21 years old and I was invited to celebrate the accomplishment on the today show in New York City. This was by far the biggest challenge I have ever undertaken & it still feels surreal that I finally completed it and can share it with you guys! To see more of my adventures

Having to travel back to Mozambique sucks, but I'm glad you didn't get DQ'd and have to do it all over again.
The rules can be sometimes difficult to follow. Transit racers who visit every station on a metro system have to do the following
1) Have two independent witnesses of appropriate social standing unknown to the racer start and stop a master stopwatch
2) The racer must supply a log book with arrival/departure times
3) A photo of every station
4) Witness statements every hour
5) Record the entire attempt. This gets fun when you do London for instance which lasts about 15 hours!

You have accomplished most of us never would have imagined possible. I really appreciate your passion, strength and solid determination to travel around the world at such young age. What I absolutely love is your humble, soft and down-to-earth personality when you have every right to brag about your priceless accomplishments. One thing more, you presented the true image of many countries that are misunderstood in the media. Wish you more success and power to you, brave soul.

Ok at first I was like, that sounds easy enough, just fly to every country, stay at the airport and fly to the next one. but the fact that you need all that proof makes this record completely insane! Wow, Well done! I've been to Canada, Mexico, and U. S. that's 1. 5% of the countrys in the world. Lol

every goal ambition is gold medal which we all are running for but after achieving that medal reward it becomes worth it but we loose the impact it did to us while achieving it and certainly it seems normal to us but for others its special thing one of a kind, and this video is one of a kind.

The travel restrictions around being in control of the vehicle / vessel also probably prevents people who travel for work (pilots, boat crew) from having an inherent advantage. Although your theory is probably the main reason (limiting liability from unsafe travelers.

My goal is to also travel to every country and so far I have been to 30! Thanks for being so inspiring and I am curious to know what is your favorite country?

Extremely difficult? Try being a refugee without a US passport. That does not take away the difficulties you did face, it just puts them in perspective.

Ah yes, Swaziland
That mountainous, neutral country in western Europe, oh wait.
Oh yeah I'm right, Switzerland is the country in Africa!
