Hi Mark, just visited the Mandarin Oriental and had the eggs Benedict because they looked so delicious when you ate them. I was so disappointed, not only with the eggs Benedict, but with the entire breakfast buffet. In any case, Bangkok is one of my favorite cities and I stayed in many hotels, and in my humble opinion, the best breakfast buffet is at the Athenee Hotel. I reviewed it myself (maybe you get a chance to look at it) although i am just an amateur next to you, but maybe you get a chance to eat there one morning and give us your opinion.

I love that this guy shows you lots of interesting cuisines but he really should be more verbally adept. one gets tired of the usual superlatives and him simply rephrasing whatever it is somebody said to him. So for instance here are lamb chops Oh these lamb chops look fantastic What super lamb chops. Do you like the lamb chops? Yes the lamb chops are fantastic.

I love all M. O, personally I like it better than Ritz or 4S
M. O. in Sanya is very unique, located inside of a naval base and volcanic rock base makes wind blow softer.
M. O. in Macao is connect to MGM so you can win/lose.
I am going to stay in Bangkok M. O. on coming March, hope it meet my expectation. Room rate is much higher than other M. O. s'

Love love love. I love everything except the raw eggs. Food really is an acquired taste. I can't get over this culture of eating raw eggs because where I come from we eat eggs fully cooked and enjoy them whether scrambled, boiled, omelette regular fried

For me, a trip to Bangkok is never complete without coming to this hotel. I've been here several times already particularly in the Riverside Terrace but for their dinner buffet which is the best in the world! Can't wait to come back again!

stayed here once with my husband in 2011. amazing hotel with great riverside restaurant they even have dancers at dinners. their wooden boats are the most beautiful ones as well. I miss Bangkok I miss Thailand so much.
