As always for years I've enjoyed your videos. This one happens to be in the province where I live and work. I hike and document hilltribe villages in the mountains of Chiang Rai. I noticed considerable deforestation near your cottage during your drone shots. Air pollution is another problem. I teach these challenging issues in Social Studies classes at the #1 academic school in CR. We need to raise awareness and solutions.

That is cheap for that experience, food looks great as do the rooms / villa's. Any hotel in a major city center would ask for more. The important thing here is really having a great break from the mayhem of our modern society. looks like the perfect place just to get away from it all for a couple of days.

What exactly making it eco friendly? Would be great to know. On the other hand, we can-t wait to try it and thx for showing! Been long outside of Thailand due to regulations of quarantine. Just wont spend that fortune for staying inside quarantine in a mandatory expensive 1 week hotel.

Miss your videos mark. My grandfather use to sit with us and watch your videos. He died because of cancer, you would always put a smile on his face, especially when you would eat the chillis raw, he would laugh and say oh my god -

From Nov-Feb is the best time to visit northern Thailand. I love to stay overnight on the mountains viewing sunset with beer and sunrise with coffee. Life of hill tribes in Thailand improves substantially with this eco tourism.
