MY AWFUL Air Canada Business Class Flight -Silenced by Cabin Crew- - Trek Trendy

What happened on my Air Canada Business Class Flight? I flew on AC's new new 787-9 Dreamliner on red eye flight from Mexico City. I'd be excited to try this airline, as i've never had a chance to before, but unfortunately quite a few things went wrong. Here is my account of what happened. I was silenced by the crew, told I was not allowed to film, provided a sub par premium experience and made to feel very unwelcome. This is not what I expected from North America's best Airline. I want to give a special mention to the ground crew which came to check on me in the terminal, to apologise for the experience I had and to offer me food, snacks and Air Canada merch. An excellent example of how to rectify a poor experience, I just hope that mentioned service improvements will happen on this red eye flight. Thankfully I still managed to offer a comprehensive review of this flight, but had I not pushed back or made my concerns public on my IG then I feel this may not have been the case. Next flight up, I'll be flying onboard their 777-300ER in Business Class, and without giving too much away, it was a completely different experience. Let's hope what happened today is a one off. My other concerns today were with the soft product provided, no bedding for a night flight, breakfast served at midnight and overall attitude towards taking photos (not in line with other reviewers. I hope also to try their Signature Business Class, their YYZ suites (lounge) - but managed to get a tiny sample on my next flight of what their concierge service is like. As always let me know what you think to my flight down below. Follow my travels: will. luxurytravel

1st conversation: Why do you have a GoPro camera? 2nd conversation: You can't film here, you are breaking the law. 3rd conversation: I can help you take photo's. Oh by the way, you can film yourself. WHAT? -Air Canada, I truly hope that this flight & the remainder of the rest of your fleet of flights were made aware of this correction to prevent it from happening in the future. This is unacceptable considering passengers paying a premium price to fly your airline cannot flip themselves to document the experience? Plastic silverware, really? & no bedding or even a blanket for passengers paying a premium price, ouch! This most definitely shows a very uncomfortable & unpleasant experience & falls short of other airlines on terms of experience & comfort. But, I do agree with Trent. If a passenger did complain/display their unpleasant experience on an airline that they flew would they still get the same treatment that Trent received? I think not. I do hope that the proper corrective actions have been taken because this is showing both a confusing & very unpleasant experience on Air Canada. Yes, provide the services mentioned after Trents flight are nice to try to make up for the shortfalls. But, the actions that I would have preferred to see would be to address the issues displayed in this video rather than try to put a bandaid on it by offering merchandise & food & or drinks.

Air Canada is not the best airline by miles. I refuse to fly them after my bad experiences with them in the past, overbooked and then not enough food, one of the crew gave up one of their meals. I find it questionable it's 'illegal' to film yourself on board. Breakfast at midnight as well. Guessing if you were a nobody they would put you in jail for a non-illegal filming of yourself. Idiot Airline from my home country well the one I grew up in.

Flight crews are in charge - not you. Follow their instructions or get off. Passengers like you are what-s wrong with the industry. If you don-t like it, walk. Kudos to AC as well for denying boarding to those Quebec party goers that tried to get back to Canada after their charter cancelled their return. If that was my flight the flex cuffs would-ve been used, and landed immediately, at full cost to them.

Although I have never had the luxury of being able to afford the expense of flying business class before, I HAVE had the pleasure of visiting Canada and it's people several times. Our family always know them to be a very friendly, warm and courteous nation. One thing is for sure, If ever I did fly business class I most certainly would not go dressed like 3: 26. Don't blame others for YOUR own rudeness

They held 1356$_flight they canceled to Japan. Refusing to refund me. Stating its a non-refundable flight. (Its clearly marked: -If cancelled by purchaser. Took a whole year and ACTUAL legal action to get me refunded, for a flight -they (Air Canada) cancelled themselves.
I mean the flight litterally did not exist. And they wanted to just keep my money.
Horribly disgusting airline.

As a Canadian (now living in the US) I can tell yo uthat I NEVER fly Air Canada if I can help it because they are the absolute worst airline I've ever flown on. Abhorrent customer service and more often than not, in flight service as well. Rude, entitled, and just outright shite. This trip of yours doesn't surprise me whatsoever. Sorry you had to go through it.

Canadian's sucks 360 degree, I lived in Canada 8 years; great money but the people is so horrible, depressed, incompetent, ignorant and opinionated that I had to go away. P. s.: as well no sarcasm or sense of humor found in 8 years even if I was speaking with hundreds of different people every week.

I used to fly Calgary-Zurich on a frequent Basis. Air Canada was for me with Swiss the worst on both on Business and Eco! BA was fantast
ic on Business and Eco and Air Berlin was really good as well.
I never had one reason to complain! LH Business Class was not a great experience either.

Air Canada is a shit airline I can-t speak for business class or first class. But for the ticket price on economy it-s kinda sad what you get for your money. I flown other airlines( budget airlines) and received similar or better treatment( more leg room ect) for a fraction of the price.

I fly AC business multiple times a year and have never had a bad experience, always top notch service on every flight. Sorry you have a bad experience with what sounds like a crew member who needed to be reminded of their role.
