Tip 2: dont be afraid of trying street food if you-re looking for cheap eats. It-s delicious and not dirty as you-d expect. I dont recommend buying instant coffee nor packaged biscuits for breakfast, and Mcdo fries for snacks.
There are a lot of great food chains here. At least go to a proper coffee shop, or to somewhere you-ve never tried unlike Dunkin donuts.
Tip 3: do not expect public services such as bus, taxis and jeepneys (& even immigration) to be of good service. Again, you get what you pay for. Instead, book a for a private van service who offers a tour around cebu OR download Grab (we have that too ya know.
Also, dont worry, motorcycles wont do anything to you. You missed the falls and canyoneering! Your bones wouldnt break honestly.

First watched from their 100th country through van life and beyond. (A little late to the game) Decided to start from beginning. You can see the difference in how they and their skills have evolved. Kara is entertaining to watch. Nate, love the money consciousness, that-s me as well when my hubby and I travel. I love how he walked out of the store all annoyed saying it was expensive. That-s me. i recently went back and started watching you guys from the beginning, and all i can say is THANK GOD you stopped putting that awful music in your vlogs. i've tried 3 times now to get through this vlog and have had to stop because the music is just SO annoying. love you both though! lol

Went to Oslob to swim with the Whale Sharks a few years ago. It was such an incredible experience. Feel so much nostalgia reliving it through your video, so cool. Pretty sure I have the exact backpack that Nate has when I went also.

Is it just me? This whole swimming with the whale shark thing smacks of exploitive tourism at the expense of the animals. I-ve watched hundreds of Kara and Nate videos and this is the first one that is making me really cringe.

Went to Italy with my daughter. Stayed in Rome for 5 days. We spent one day in Florence. While waiting for our train to arrive we of course grabbed a snack at McDonalds.
